Sub Zero says it ends the attackers activation.
so any triggers that add burning, extra damage would go off
but any triggers that produce extra attacks would not work as your activation is ended

dunno I get it fairly regularly as like my bubble of sensei yu and shenlong. have to use shenlong to get focus early then he can make the sniper fast using wandering river style (4" push, plus lower focus by 1 to give target fast) and then change styles so that sensei yu does the same thing.
this gives you a focus for zero action, shoot, focus for 1 action, shoot. also having had the 4" push should give you targets.

prefer my katanaka snipers to archers as they are actually just as good in melee (if not better) and also harder to take down
plus with shenlong 2 range 28 focused shots per sniper is always nice

there are quite a few of us play at Titan games in Lincoln, as well as attend tourneys at Sanctuary and the Grid.
games nights at Titan are tuesday from about 5 on to about 10. usually games organised on their facebook page

Mei Feng crew is a good go to, took just that to a tourney once.
Mei Feng - Seismic Claws, Vapormancy, Seize the Day (not needed but nice)
Emberling
Joss - Bleeding Edge Tech, Imbued Energies (or warding runes against ressers)
Kang - Hard Worker, Imbued Energies (or warding runes against ressers)
2 Rail Workers
2 Metal Gamin (although will be looking to change these at some point as never did much for me before the cuddle)

works for reconnoiter. I have ran Raspy with 9 gamin, wendigo and snowstorm

If you can see someone generating the aura and are in range then you are effected by it

its for this reason I never really bother with it, prefering desolate soul instead. gives you a good swap, killing one of theirs to summon one of yours

which works until your opponents finally realise this at multiple tourneys and bring a kirai/molly spirit list that kang has no effect on (as spirits are not actually undead)
admittedly hes still kang and rocks but its something to look at

its remove a scheme marker. she reduces damage to 0. however Glimpse happens even without damage so guess she gets that condition but takes no damage.

would agree with raspy as she is very straight forward
I would also suggest marcus, has a good crewbox to start that you can expand on when ready and the crew works nicely together plus is fairly straightforward

Does armour and suchlike effect whispers from beyond? Ie half damage then reduced by armour?
also does this work with other abilities, like Colettes now you see me - still get the Glimpse the Inevitable but no actual damage?

i do like Kaeris damage output vs ressers. get equal on a draw and they say thats triple negative, then you dont care, put burning on and cast again

only played dreamer once myself and that was using Levi. tbh Levi/Alyce just kills all his summons and summons abominations off them so I had activation control. even managed to summon an abomination right next to dreamer which with his nice aura really messes up the dreamer until hese dead.
if summoning dreamer though just keep the pressure on (when playing arcanist mei feng i like a kang/joss double team with joss putting a negative on all casts in his aura)

mei feng for me. seems to have stuff to handle most situations whether playing arcanist or TT

still didnt think metal gamin were overpowered apart from as a mech rider summon. they rarely do anything other than sit around and are not always fast enough to get to the thing they need to sit next to. and now they are even more generic so that other gamin or spiders are usually a better choice.
even before this errata I was looking at saving points elsewhere to replace them with more useful models, and since the errata have spent more time updating all my lists

not actually sure why people classed metal gamin as OP?
yes they were good summons for the mech rider (another model that massively under performs IMO) as they could survive 2 hits but apart from being road blocks they never seem to do alot being very slow so no good as scheme runners and not much good for killing stuff. the best thing they could do was defend a marker which with lures/pushs etc can be got around anyway.
mi4 with 1/2/3 damage track isnt great and even the burning from PoM could be dealt with and thats after they slowed down even more by spending an ap putting pom up.
they are good against constructs due to the magnetism but thats niche anyway, personally look to spend 1pt more on rail workers (who have a good damage track and 0 ability) or molemen for the same
as for those saying they are of great use in TT with mei feng etc I am sure a TT Brother would be a better option and seem to be even harder to actually take down.

hmm, not overly happy with all the changes. metal gamin for me were slow but steady defensive things that had minimal damage output and I rarely used them (other gamin are generally better), this will take them out of use even more for me as losing both Prot of Metal and hard to kill whilst staying melee 4 makes them not very defensive or offensive and they dont even explode in the killers face.
how often has anyone tried PoM on anyone but a metal gamin? due to their slowness its pretty pointless as they cant keep up. this needed a change to an end of the turn thing thing at least with the cuddles they got.
guess its time for the ice/fire gamin to join Ramos crew or find some points for rail workers.

my use of the rattler is usually in support of my scheming silurid as the rattler can usually take out opposing scheme runners quite happily.

mei fengs crew, with kang and hard worker, then add a rail golem and metal gamin(more foundry is good)
pretty much nuetralizes all resser defenses

Yes its not great for levi however I have been fixed master tourneys with melee masters and deliver a message was 3 auto points for opponents so this will not change how I play levi.
