    It`s an subjective impression, but it looks like some other faction have more powerful units on this level, and those are still untouched (e.g. compare a Rotten Belle to a Railworker). 6 month passed and my opinion wasn`t changed by anything i`ve seen or heard.

    or compare a depleted to a metal gamin. ok insignificant but they work for a few schemes/strats and are 8 wounds, HtW, HtK, explodey death for same SS.

    as corner case as metal gamin now are maybe but also alot tougher

  2. marcus crews are very Ml based so as you have that stuff already I would go with him.

    beasts for him that are good are the cerberus, silurids, blessed of december. going to other factions I also really like rogue necro and dawn serpent

    mei feng is my favourite master so can asl be good

  3. Havent used them since the errata. their damage output is minimal, hardly any more survivable than other gamin. would rather have fire or ice that have ranged attacks, ok damage and even explode when they die.

    basically the errata neutered any use they may have for their points. maybe a 3pt model now?

  4. only played against a rat engine once but it didnt seem as bad as some of your experiences. only lost really due to my poor scheme choices.

    yes he got to out activate me but it didnt effect my game plan too much but then I had Willie opposite his big beater and wp17 test to charge can turn away some on 1st turn.

    by turn 3 I actually had the numbers back down to equal (or even outnumbering him eventually)

    this, hes not a real summoner, yes I can summon using him but its a side effect of killing things and aboms whilst annoying will usually only get 1 in a turn so not massive summoning anyaway

  6. I actually prefer to face summoners as it means their master is usually doing something else with his AP rather than scoring strats/schemes or doing damage to my crew. It also tends to be resource intensive so they are using their high cards and often stones to bring stuff in that is usually damaged so is actually easy to kill. If nico spends all his AP bringing in a couple of half wound things and I can kill them in a couple of AP then it balances out.

    I have faced good players that have used Nicodem, Kirai, Ramos and Dreamer and so far havent had issues. In fact when facing ressers in recconoiter (or its 2016 equivalent) I have expected Nico and been able to counter it happily. I would rather face some of these summoners than some of the other masters the factions bring (if you want to bring summoners to tourneys craig rather than Lynch I would be happier :D )

  7. not had problems yet, and you can always alpha it after an 8" walk from marcus if need be. also the stalk can be used for him as much as any other creature with stalk. or when using the emmisary discard a card for another walk action if need be
     

    depends on play style I guess but I do like him.

    And really, 13 Wds with no defensive abilities seems rather squishy to me. Hope she has some upgrades with defences, or perhaps some action activated defence.

    Can attack safely from 18" away, think thats a pretty good defensive tech. and can heal from people dying within 8"
