Kudos to Dan and crew for running a tight ship during the Con. I had a blast at my first Adepticon, even though I didn't play in any of the tourneys. To all the people whom I met: Thanks for saying hi and talking! I'm glad to see so many faces of people who genuinely enjoy playing Malifaux. To the many people I played: Thanks for the games! Even though I made up several rules on the spot I will gladly offer up rematches to those of you who wish to have them when we meet next. Overall, it was a great time, and I felt that we had the nicest player group; no issues and lots of fun games. See you guys around! Zee

So, I poked into this to listen to it, and was very impressed by the audio quality. The camaraderie was fun to listen to, and while I wish I could say I listened to the whole thing, I only got to about the 45 min mark before I got distracted with other tasks. Where: @ Gigabites Cafe in Marietta, Ga When: 11/07. Registration at 12.00, Game time at 1pm. What: 35 soulstones crews. Choose one faction, and you can use any models from that faction that are available. You are allowed to build a new crew each game, this is included in the time allotment. All models available on the shelf allowed; pre-release models from GenCon allowed. We will be using the 2010 Halloween Strategies, which can be found here: http://www.wyrd-games.net/Ezine/HalloweenStoryEncounters2010.pdf Each round will be 1 and a half hour long. At the end of 3 rounds, the tournament will end. Faction and Master specific schemes are limited to once during the event. This means that if you play Seamus in 2 games, you can only use his master specific scheme in one of them, and the faction specific schemes in one of them. They can both be used in the same game, however, remember that you cannot use them again. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. I wasn't sad that I got the stuff at GenCon; I'm sad that the ONLY things that are on sale are the GenCon release things. I was hoping for other items

I was doing some online shopping today to restock on some paints and supplies to paint up my Kirai box and friends:D, and was visiting Miniature Market. I saw a sign there on the right side of the page. It's a 50% sale on malifaux stuff! I'm kinda sad because all the stuff on sale is stuff I already picked up at the Con, but I thought some of you guys who couldn't go to the Con might be able to use it. Enjoy! I need new legs, not new shoes. Even with new shoes, after that many hours of standing, having a seat was miraculously awesome!

It was a blast, and I had a lot of fun working the booth [that's me and my balding head with the back to the camera in the first Friday pic]. Can't wait until next year! Best moment: Trying to sell models to Brushmistress.

Yeah, you can target yourself with Master Surgeon. The only time your abilities don't target you are auras and pulses that don't specify that they affect the user, and the attacks as you are not allowed to attack yourself [ie Nico can't Decay himself, even through a Vulture ]

First attack of the game: Spider Swarm charges Lady J, drops a 13. Lady J uses a Soulstone to duck, top decking a Mask for the Riposte trigger. Gets an even flip because of the Df/Cb difference, and topdecks the Red Joker, followed by a Severe. I get the image of 3 Spiders jumping in unison, and getting Shish Kabobed on lady J's sword, and she takes them home to roast over the fire with marshmallows.

I'm a big fan of the Samurai Punks and the Flesh Constructs, though I believe the Belles are good as well. I usually run 1 Belle with him, as an artillery puller for the crew. She can really pull targets into range so that you don't have to leave the Bolster Aura to get certain models.
