Excellent sculpting, Wyrd Miniatures. I glued together six box sets today, and a bunch of extra models. I usually pin everything, but I found myself being quite satisfied with the quality of the joins on your miniatures. I did pin a few ( the dead hooker with the non-deployed parasol, Candy's scissors, and a few other bits and pieces. ) but many of them I looked at, dry fit, and decided they were going to be quite alright without pins. The 'borg did get assembled last, and he probably should have had a few pins stuck in him, but I was getting a bit tired. We'll see how he holds together and perhaps I'll add some pins later. Anyway, good job on the sculpting and casting, Wyrd.

Yeah, PP's big announcement was a bit of a letdown. "We want to do a video game, but we don't have a publisher or anything other than a couple of 3d models. So with modern video game lead times, we're looking at two to three years until it's out." Yeah, they should have sat on this announcement until NEXT Gencon.

What kind of release schedule does Wyrd miniatures do? I'm used to the Privateer Press schedule, ( every three weeks ) and just wondered what to expect. I'm pretty new around here, so I have no idea how long everyone has been waiting for everything.

So, I was paging through the book and thought I'd list the stuff that isn't out yet. Any idea when any of this stuff is coming out? What is your release schedule like? I'm kinda new to you guys, and I realize that the game is quite new. All factions: 4 totems each Guild: Guild Austringers Guild guard Peacekeeper Resurectionists: Bete Noir Crooked Man Canine Remains Mindless Zombies the Hanged Arcanists: Electrical Creation Moleman Neverborn: Doppleganger Hooded Rider Young Nephilim Teddy Waldgeist Outcasts: Desolation Engine Steampunk Abomination Ronin Have I missed anything or listed anything erroneously? It occurs to me that I didn't count the total number of entries in each faction. Does anyone know if they have an even amount? There are more missing Neverborn and Resurectionist models than any other.

Thanks, Everyone. Yes, Danicia picked up The Decemberists, a Sabertooth, the December Acolyte, and Hans. I popped online today to try and order a couple of Hoarcats, but alas, they are sold out. I picked myself up a starter from every faction, two from the Outcasts. ( The Viktoria box had a bunch of the other outcasts that I wanted ) Plus assorted other goodies. ( I now think I should have picked up another blister of dead Hookers, though. )

I read in the rules that effects with the same name don't stack, but what about things like "Survival of the Fittest"? It is a effect, but is the same name prohibition mostly there for things like +2 Wp / +2 Df and whatnot? Or: "Can two Hog Whisperers both use Survival of the Fittest when a gremlin within six inches of both of them dies?"

Does the lack of young Nephilim cause problems? It seems like without the Young Models, the whole range of Neph are somewhat reduced, effectiveness wise. Or: is there a reason to use Neph right now, before the Medium sized ones come out?

It seems like it's a pretty good idea to have some soulstones left, to not spend them all on a starting gang. Is this right? Is there some 'target' number of SS that I should aim for? ( or is it all dependent on what Master I take? )

Greetings, A new player here. I picked up waaaay too much Malfaux stuff at Gencon, and look forward to starting to play. I was able to read the book twice on the plane. ( Yay, long layover! ) I picked up starters from all the factions, so I can teach other people in the area how to play. ( Plus, to share with my Fiance, who wants to learn to play too. ) We're in the Seattle area, and I'm hoping to get in a game or two at PAX in a few weeks, and I plan on demoing the game at Steamcon in late October. ( I should easily be able to have a few starters painted by then. And I have plenty of scenery from a failed attempt at a previous Western miniatures game. ) Barry
