  1. Yes, another one... The third demo in 3 month! Is a kind of success for me... This one will be made it in the "Ayudar Jugando" (help playing it!) convention. Is a charity convention, that wants that all children (yes, that includes the Dreamer!) can get a toy for Xmas... Many game demos, tourneys, a charity auction... all for kids! We contribute this year with demos of Malifaux and a few tables for free games. As always, you are welcome to come and play!
  2. And a few more, this generals for the Kritiks Days: http://s604.photobucket.com/albums/tt128/ClubKritik/XVII%20Jornadas%20Kritikas_2010/
  3. Well, a few pictures about the demo... Guild from raven, Agkay's gremlims and his beatiful table...
  4. For Malifaux demos, I'm using the "easy" option: papercraft. We have a huge collection of houses, including two different sets for a Wild West town, two different sets for a "victorian" city... Sure is not as good as make it by yourself, but works. Also, I'm planning into make, at least, four thematics tables, so I need a huge amount of terrain...
  5. An spanish name for a german miniature? This is a great mini, as always when freebooter is involved...
  6. Ok, some of me at the last demo... About the others pics... No comment :vb_devil:
  7. I'm from Spain, and I wonder how many people from the Old Continent are here... Is Malifaux an only-american game? Or can we also play?
  8. Hi! Here in Barcelona we have another demo planned to run... The day? Saturday 6 and Sunday 7, November. The place? The Kritik Club, in the mark of his Kritik Days... I know that maybe no one of this forum can come to BCN to play, but... if you are in the city, you are welcome to come!! Besides the Malifaux demo, there is also an Infinity event, role games, a freak/geek cake contest and more... Come on to the City, lads!
  9. Yes, the face is very, very good! But the dress... IMHO, you need to work more in dress. The different highlights are very different, you need to add some medium tones.
  10. And that's all. We play a game between us, and many people come to see the minis, and have been interested in the game... Is a good day for us, and I think that also for Malifaux We are planning to repeat this in December; we have now a lot of people with minis that doesn't know how to play, so want to give them a little help and a place where to find each other. And to finish this... a few extra pics, and a petition: please forgive me for any horrible grammar error that I could have done :puppy: Play Malifaux like a man... And one of an scalextric of Hoth...
  11. In the afternoon, we have another demo play, with the whole staff of the softcombat association. Four people interested in Malifaux, and no one has previously played to any wargame! O_o The crews were in this time Perdita and Nicodemus. Two groups, and the game start... This game couldn't finish (they have a softcombat tournament), but at leats one of them have the intention to buy a crew... More pics... Continue...
  12. We have a lot of people interested in try the game, so the first game was with two forum mates. Nicodemus and his zombies, and Ramos and an arachnid swarm. Ramos is the crew that one of the players have (but still unmounted and unpainted) so he can learn how works he in a game. The mission was one of the Halloween set of 2009; the one that you have to get as many candies as you can. We have true candies, so players have an extra motivation to win The Ramos player won the game, and go to the store to buy some electrical creation xD Here is some pics of the game... And the proud winner, with his prize... Continue...
  13. Juguem! (a catalan word that could be translated as Let's play!) is a catalan GameCon, with three years of life. In this, you can play role games, cuddle battles, airsoft, board games... and also wargames. In this edition, we (the core of Doll's House forum, the spanish forum for Malifaux) want to make a good demos day. We want that people that try the game enjoy it, and will buy some crews We have an online store that sells Malifaux at our side, so people look the game, look the prizes and buy it xD I make a full set of paper buildings to give the appropriate atmosphere. We also have 9 crews, with 4 of them fully painted. Here you can see the town, and the crews... Continue...
  14. The work on the trollblood skin is very good! But... Vlad in blue colors!!!?? :disappoin You are a traitor to motherland, sir!! :hmpf:
  15. Thanks to all! About the mini, she will use him with the Pandora's totem rules (poltergeist, I think), but likes so much this mini and want to use it... Her crew is fully of evil kids, so the totem has to be another evil kid And about marry her... We're promised, so we only need a church and time xD
  16. Ouch!! My girlfriend's crew is Pandora and evil boys, and I think that I was wandering about it when I wrote the post...
  17. And father, but I don't want a very huge title They are very little, compared to PP and GW models. Maybe they are in a correct scale I want to add something more to my guild crew, but i'm not sure what... Comments & Criticism are welcome!
  18. Hi! This last weekend we have a demo here, and we need (of course) some minis painted... My girlfriend start to paint her Pandora's crew, and she start with this little guy: She is very proud of him, and want to continue with her little childrens... What do you think?

  20. Hi! After... 4, 5 months? that I have the minis, I have finally start to paint it... I've started with the ice gamin and golem, since they seems easy to paint that the little 'Tina... They are still wip, with only the shadowing part done. I want to give the big icy and icy color, with final highlights in white. The little ones, but, I've planned to finish them in blue. Ice blue, or something similar... I can't remember the exact name. Well, ladies&gentlemen... My Cult! As always, C&C are welcome
  21. Hi! Guys (and gals) I need a little help... In October I'm planning to do a demo to Malifaux in a local GameCon. Is something that people demands to me from a long time ago, so I think that is just time to do it... I want that the demo will be a total success. There will be boxes and blisters available to sell also, so I want that every one that proves the game comes to him/her house with a new Crew... I (and my collaborators) have a few ideas: - Two different (at least) Crews, fully painted. - Play with band boxes, if possible. Try to avoid things such 'Tina with spiders or Cerberus... - A game board with appropriate scenography. - A quick reference sheet, game markers and aids. - Obviously, a good knowledgement about rules and game mechanics. This is a good base, I think... but I need your advice; you have been making demos since almost an year, so if you could give us any advice... I have a few questions, but I will thank anything that you can tell me about demos... And about the questions: - Is there any combination of Crews that result in a boring demo? We have Cult of December, Ortega's, the Gremlim Crew, Redchapel Gang, M&SU and Vickys. - Prepared scenario or flip to mission as always? I think that is enough... If a have more questions, be sure that I come here again Thanks in advance for your answers...
  22. Well, one of the reasons that I'm back is (also that is a really good game!!) is that in my city there is a growing interest in the game. Last saturday, I met with a friends to play Malifaux in my LGS. There was also the re-opening party of the LGS, so there was a lot of people. Well, we have always people looking the game... I think that if the LGS has Malifaux in the store, he will sell 6-8 crews... At this rate, I have to apply to henchman program...
