  1. When I first saw a couple of the Wyrd minis months back I immediately thought, "This is a dark and comic like miniature range." The more I looked at the minis, the more my initial thought evolved and it was becoming a atmosphere of its own. The above statement is a great frame for the minis, but in time I think people may start to reference this simply as "Wyrd". I'm quite impressed with the atmosphere and world that is developing out of these figs. I'm originally from New Mexico and I am very partial the the wild west especially at night and the somewhat frightening loneliness and mysticism of the dessert at night. Mix in a little humour to the darkness of and you get a form of insanity that I am happy to play with. I really think you guys have begun something here that will become dearly beloved.

I use Reaper brush on sealer and I water it down in a 1-to-1 ratio. I brush it on and it holds up pretty well. My only problem is that it tends to destroy the blending of the miniatures. Anyone have a good method for sealing display figures?
  3. I downloaded a DVD tutorial from another French painter and it was quite good. The content of this one looks even better.
  4. So what about the Death Marshals? Are they to be Guild also? This will play a large role in what my first miniature range will be.
  5. Michigan is still Midwest yeah. Gamers galore here, unfortunately its all GW and PP. Conf3x was a pretty big hit here until the big switch. I've tried to elicit the interest of other to play a few of the other skirmish games. No takers really, but there is a large growing interest in this game.
  6. I started off two years ago in 40k with Necrons. I thought miniature painting was so easy! Turns out, Necrons are like the easiest things to paint. These were the first minis
  7. @Jabberwocky, its a shame Ford is cutting back on their F-150 production. I used to frequent the Claycomo plant and when time permitted I would shoot down to the gaming store down on 105th street in Overland Park. That is one of the best stores I've seen around the country for stocked merchandise and never have I seen so many well painted figs on display. Once I build a decent lightbox, I'll photograph some of my work. Only got two years experience, but I've gotten pretty good.
  8. Greetings weirdos. :wavey: Always wanted to play miniature wargames for aver 12 years, then 2 years ago I was lead to 40k. A year later I had grown up and moved on to better systems as I an avid painter and so took up Confrontation 3.5, Warmachine, Anima Tactics, Infinity and soon Helldorado. I have an awesome disposable income now and I am always on the hunt for a great skirmish game with great figs, rules and story. Been looking at Wyrd for a bit now got a friend who is play testing and invited me to try it out in a few weeks. The figs look great, but I know nothing of the background. Is there any sources on this? In any event, I really look forward to this system and want to say hello. Also, what are these colored bars under my profile?
