  1. Nice. weren't they just recently all "no retail or distribution" attitude? Jess, get them, you would do them the justice!
  2. Actually, you are FAR from the truth It's Canadian. Some facts we know: - huge starter boxes (54 minis) - you register bought miniatures and they get experience registered on Ex Illis servers etc. No chance to play with proxies (unless you bought Ex illis stuff) as you need the software. They are I believe not transferrable from the account to an account so no resale value. - gameboard is (few) squares, units move from square to square - all in plastic - low fantasy So unless you get yourself an IPhone or drag your laptop with you OR have a buddy with either of above, you can get them Dan to proxy in other games.
  3. One thing we all agree to is that well done multiparts are better than badly done multiparts I get the same amount of positive comments on multiparts as complaints. Hard to satisfy everybody but hey, we all try.
  4. Well, since most of the continental companies cast in Britain, I can see at least one reason while it is cheaper to do it in UK. The market dictates the rules. If Freebooter sells its stuff for 12 Euro, good for them. The math is not that simple - reduce price by half, sell twice as many. Even if the sales would go up twice, the costs would remain the same not to mention the man power to man (lol) more packaging, shipping. So in the end, business wise it is much more efficient to sell one mini for 12 Euro then 2 for 6 or even 3 for 18
  5. My antivir software goes crazy when I click these links, probably spyware.
  6. He is in a multipack with Necro G.I.s and available separately at cons and our online store. But PM me when you need one
  7. That is pretty contagious: check out http://stellarkick.mybrute.com/
  8. Thanks! I want to pick up some as guys in my gaming club started playing LotHS. And I finally have some time to paint for leisure!
  9. Quality stuff. How the Black Scorpion pirates compare sizewise to Rum&Bone? I'm SO tempted to get their undead pirates.
  10. Are you all sure it is a wolf? Looks like a freaking werebear to me. Anywho, sweet sculpt. I find the whole "demons-with-the-tubes-sticking" concept disturbing but not in the good old Hell Dorado way. There is plenty more pics if you follow the blog links.
  11. It's one of those times that the miniature beats the concept. There is lots of power and strength in that pose.
  12. I thought I'll help the Monkey and other news posters. Don't sit in the front of the tv, go to your local gym and become a super hero! DAN "DEAD EYE" PEYTON & VIGILANTES
  13. I already ordered them. Check out that crazy price tag with a 1,5 quid shipping!
  14. Enigma dwarves are amazing. Even a static pose has so much life in it.
  15. Actually we have spy robots that are attached to blisters/boxes and every time you buy something, you get one. The new generations attach themselves to your synapses and do a live feedback.
  16. Most of the resins these days are plastic. I think most of the people think of resin as brittle substance we all know from various companies. Alkemy stuff is done in a different plastic than GW stuff (called commonly hard plastic) but it is still plastic. Even if it is resin
  17. Remember they work in plastic. This means minimum quantities probably at least 1000 (times 4 factions!). With such an investment plus companies running costs, I truly understand their policy. Better this and business honesty than shadowy explanations as to why the game doesn't get monthlies.
  18. Doom doom upon us: I bet in a couple of weeks this miniature will be unavailable. If GW lawyers were able to prove a clawed demon is looking too much like a Daemonette, I bet people behind a huge game and a huge IP will be able to do so as well with this White Wolf (as the author publicly stated Geralt was his inspiration lol). I love Freeman's stuff, he is doing most characterful faces.
  19. Yeah, Nick, it is all about boobies. Calm down.
  20. Best brushes imho, after getting them I never looked at any others. The brush DOES make a difference.
  21. Oohhh, if I ever get some time to paint for leisure, I'll get Honk or Humpty, maybe Crow. Dang, these are nice even if pricey.
