  1. Deus Ex Machina - Home of Chick Challenge(s)
  2. Darn... I just hope it has nothing todo with the madness which happened on the last CC. Me too, I wanted to try my brushes at this competition :disappoin :damnmate: Ah well... I don't know if writing this time will help. And I guess I will look more closely at his site.
  3. Huh :wtf: Cheers daBoss, 30 isn't so bad ... once you've gotten used to it. :bdayparty :grouphug: :birthday: :fest06:
  4. Hostages Medieval/Fantasy Hostages. Minis I can use as marker or RPG Figure. It's not that interesting -visually- to save that "poor dwarf who was subdued by the evil forces"....and showing a dwarf in full rioting gear hacking with a helleberd at his Hirstart prisondoor. Right? So might it be possible to get some captives. Male/Female doesn't matter (or make both of them as a set). It might be interesting to get captives from other races too. Then we could also argue about the signs of captivity. Someone unarmed? Bound? Enthralled (means walking like a somnanbulist). Sitting, kneeling, walking around, make your pick Then... Viktoria's Friends. Playing in the same league. Hmm .... SciFi/Modern Common People. Technicians, Drivers, Scientists. Bartender, Bargirls/men. (Now thinking about Klute's Narg&Gayle piece): Modern day slaves (Nothing too explicit, mind you)... I'm thinking here of lads an'lasses in more or less state of artfully arranged undressing. Think Werner's Chaos Priestess here, the way the Woman's body is framed by straps. Hmm, that is all I can think off at this moment. Minis wich can be used on dioramas
  5. Hehe... true. As long (and as fast) as Kev is pushing drop-dead gorgeous models out of his queue each month.. I know I'll never be able to finish. Because I buy them...and then they are waiting here...and then there a new ones coming....more exciting than before....which I buy then.... A heck....you know what I mean. Admit it: you do exactly the same :thumb: @art-de-vivre I do like a Shiraz now and then. The nick though was chosen from a totally different purpose though. Some years ago I started to write a novel for my wife. The story takes place in and around the Shiraz Empire. Back when I didn't know there was an Aussie Wineregion with that same name. And glad I could help with the Paintier. @supervike I do not know about paint-shaker. Would you care to enlighten me, please ??
  6. Yep, it's Paintier. I would suggest you look more closely at the Paintier 80 . I have two of them (ordered through the paintier shop).. and am glad I did. Though sometimes I wonder if I shouldn't order a third one -just to be on the safe side- as the collection of paints rises from quarter to quarter. I wonder why :bird: My own list: Waking up on christmas eve and being able to paint correctly :flypig: No more fuss with blending, no more fuss with layering. But that'll be a dream I guess so... -Finishing the pirates I have here -Finishing the Freebooter I have here -Finishing the Hasslefrees I have here -Getting my Eldest to paint/finish his Lizardmen and -Getting my Daughter to finish her sceletons and (finally) -Getting my wife more interested into the painting/playing process. There.Finished :dancing2:
  7. ..be glad if the audience around won't make "Oh ooooh" ... in a teletubie-way.....now THAT would be scary :umbrella: :imsorry:
  8. It's been days I accessed CMON for the last time. After being down for some days, the only thing I get now is Got error 28 from Table handler  But bfore that, I admit, it wasn't/isn't the most userfriendly thing I know. Took some time to get acquainted
  9. God it's amazing. One Viktoria looks more gorgeous like the other.:thumb: I hate you, ah scratch that .... I envy you :flypig: I now officially ask, demand, requests, what ever :tongue2: one of you fine gents takes the time and makes a picture-step-by-step for us ninnies, about how you do such fine NMM...(and perhaps see-through as a follow-up please:hail: Please:hail: PLEASE:hail:
  10. Nope, :imsorry: not really literary You took the meaning of "Folterknecht" which indeed means torturer. A "knecht" is a servant or laborer (menial). But "torturer of brushes" sounds just better. :thumb: Just keep it. Hello and :welcome: to the forum
  11. 10 GBP for one box or 18 GBP for the two boxes. And worldwide postage is already included in that price. Darn...now if it wasn't for paypal...
  12. I like her. Though I do find the spear a bit thick. Same as with the pirate you showed on the FoD... if you would cast them I would buy them. Very nice job Patrick.
  13. Doo ... I happened to be in Hospital last year when they aired their "America" Videoclip. Trust me...if you happen to hear Rammstein continually about five to six times an hour.... you can't hear the song anymore :bird:
