  1. Super sweet paintjob, small pics. Scott.....I have a Mac10 sculpt in a mould if you fancy a few :thumb: Silenced option too.
  2. You hit the nail on the head Scott. Its the colours thats doing it. Like tha Cadwallen stuff.
  3. Base is scratchbuilt. Round base, greenstuff, plasticard and a soldering iron. Green "acid blood" is Wilko's clear epoxy glue with a little green paint added.
  4. Hi Becca. I have photo's of myself nekkid but believe me you will only look once. :puke:
  5. Going off the actors I would say. Trainspotting and Shallow Grave Ferris Bueller, Godzilla.....ok ok thats cos my boy loves it. Pulp Fiction Usual Suspect and Seven or is that Se7en I Robot, Independence Day. Jackson and Spacey in Negotiator......great actor+great actor=great movie.
  6. Yes the barbed wire is from HF's etched brass stuff. Very nice it is too.
  7. Do we have a "that pic gives me a stiffy" emoticon ? Guess you know where my vote goes.
  8. Hi all. Havnt posted much lately. Been real busy here. Anyway heres a couple to hopefully make up for it. Signee the Alien Hunter. Dionne the Werewolf Hunter. Suzi
  9. Thats why Im getting 2. Feels like a crime when I convert minis.
  10. Ive got a couple and its actually a lot nicer than I judged from the painted and green versions. I dont mean that as a dig at Natalya either. I will paint one and enter the online "contest/popularity" thing. Mainly becuase it will be a larff when you see what I plan. Lets just say Im practicing my transparent clothing technique.:thumb: BTW guys and girls.....talking about her will only attract her. Remember Mr Costner.....build it and they will come.
  11. Been already and got me 2. I feel I will have to sculpt some armour on him for the helmet version.
  12. Very nice Cindy. He looks very Crow like.
  13. Ooh I got the Confrontation Vahgar Wolfen. Also I got the Maximus figure that looks exactly like Russell Crowe by Lattorre(?) But the best one was a Hospitalier Knight from Andreas......that figure is simply the best lump of lead Ive seen and Im going to spend hours and hours lovingly caressing it with my brush. Im fancying collecting those knights. Next will be the Orlando Bloom Kingdom of Heaven lookylikey.
  14. Thats very quick. Im sure Nathan posted them less than a week ago. I did ask for the quick option but was still expecting 2/3 weeks.
  15. Ok Ive looked and cant see anywhere to announce I have my package so.... I have my package cheers Nathan and Magnificant Egos and Nexus Wyrd minis very nice and thanks for the sweetie. I havnt had a good look let so I will give you some deeper feedback when I get a chance.
  16. Hi Vicky Nice painting there. Am I right in assuming the fur is painted using washes.?
  17. Ouch. What I would like to see is a steady release of high quality figures. What I mean by steady is say 2 figures every 2 months. Not a lot but enough to keep the interest up. Quick turnaround shit Im not interested in though I think you already know that and I already know you feel the same. Keep Edgar sweet too. Big dragon and a frikkin nasty one too. I would buy that. You could count on Scotts fingerless hand how many dragons are out there that I like. Pussies the lot of them. I think its the humanoid look they put in to them with the standing on hind legs and such. Take Garrity's new one. Very nice sculpt but the way it is stood it reminds me of one of the old wrestlers from the 70's. I like the gothic look you have to the first releases and always like to see what twisted ideas crop from other peoples minds. Maybe just to know Im not alone.
  18. So true. Our kids celebrated Chinese year of the Rat or something this year at school with a big party. Great I thought I like all the multi cultural stuff. Good for the kids. Its just a shame they didnt do anything for VE Day.
  19. And thats exactly the one that was on the tip of my tongue.
  20. I think it totally depends on the style the figure is painted. Full on nmm etc would benefit from blood painted flat with lightsource but more "realistic" looking figures like what I try to do look better with the glossy stuff. Same reason I left the slight sheen on the trousers and vest and boots.
  21. Ive seen blood done like that with sharp lightsource highlights. Like shiny leather I suppose.
  22. Excellent job Anders. Side by side with Erics they are so similar but yet so different. Both a 10 and equally good in different ways.
  23. No reason. I dont see her as bright really. I gave the hockey stick a bright scheme becuase Jess was very muted with earthy leathers. I went to town with the face though to get some colour. Blue eyes and rosey cheeks. To be honest I dont intentionally try to keep to a certain style. I just paint what I fancy at the time.
