  1. ...? What? Avatars could always go back and forth, unless you are postulating that Kirai knowingly spends eternity on a random riverbank just all unconscious-like.
  2. 10T "Synergy" also has lesser value than other Masters, and takes less investment to set up. Their models are independently pretty awesome. Pick a Master, expand primarily with 10T models, then pick up the other Master's box sets. You might have to pick up a single out of faction blister for a 10T Master. The should take care of you for most things. Just because you -can- hire a lot out of faction doesn't mean you -need- to. ---------- Post added at 02:10 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:08 PM ---------- Oh, one thing the 10T do kind of miss is that sense of buying all the box sets and having that sense of great variety for all your Masters. In Rezzers, if you buy the Nicodem / Seamus / McMourning boxes, then you have a fantastic selection of models for all of them. In 10T, less so. That said, Mei Fang + Misaki are really good on that front.
  3. Nurses and sort of Necropunks.
  4. Nurses + Shrug Off! Anything scheme marker heavy. A Line in the Sand / Squatter's Rights, etc.
  5. Do not place Transfusion on McMourning. Place Transfusion on Sebastion or anyone else, really. Nurses are some of the best models in the game--use them. Combine with a Freikorps Specialist to keep your guys moving as necessary after a heal. I'm not sure this will help, but I consider this to be the quintessential 50ss "Fluff List" for McMourning. It might be good to learn his mechanics off it. 2 McMourning, Cache 6 +1 Plastic Surgery +1 Moonlighting +2 Evidence Tampering 2 Zombie Chihuahua 7 Sebastian +1 Transfusion 6 Flesh Construct 6 Flesh Construct 5 Nurse 5 Nurse 4 Canine Remains 4 Canine Remains 4 Canine Remains If you want to deviate from the fluff, trade something out for the Freikorps Specialist. Nurses are control pieces / clutch healing. Sebastian is a melee brute and Transfusion junkie. Canine Remains are objective runners / anti-objective-runners. McMourning is there to assist his crew and attack from any angle he will be safe again afterwards. Flesh Constructs are your vanguard. Expect to get "The Bomb" off once per game at most. Usually, the threat of the bomb is better than the bomb itself. It sounds like your big issue is less model synergy, and more getting into the mindset of Malifaux. Absolutely everything you do should be about completing schemes/strategies or denying your opponent their schemes/strategies.
  6. Wut? That's not a clarification, that's errata. Eh, not that big of a deal.
  7. Isn't Lure a move and not a push, with the only distinction being "must end as close as possible?" So couldn't you move it around as long as it once again ends in base to base.
  8. Do not get into an attrition fight with Ramos. You will lose. Complete your strategy and schemes and only worry about the Spiders if they can stop you. If those Spiders can stop you for whatever reason, then kill whatever is necessary to stop it and nothing else.

@Some_Scrub: Melee Range makes for 23". The trick is to not do it as your first activation, but a latter one. Hannah can also increase the range by a few inches. Presumably your opponent will move forward and activate. Do not, under any circumstances, throw the Vikkies into an unactivated Crew without support. This means you'll want your model count high, which can be accomplished with Ronin / Desperate Mercenaries / Void Wretches or, if you are using Wave 2, some of Hamelin's models. Hrm... with Wave 2 Open Spoiler 6 Viktoria of Ashes, Cache 7 0 Viktoria of Blood +2 Scramble +2 Mark of the Shiz 6 Freikorps Trapper 6 Freikorps Trapper 4 Void Wretch 4 Obedient Wretch 2 Malifaux Rat 2 Malifaux Rat 2 Malifaux Rat That's 30ss, leaving 20 more. Enough for some upgrades and 2-3 more models. Probably Vanessa and either Strongarm or Lazarus. Will have to check this list out in a playtest battle.
  10. So! New to leagues. I have my group--Industry Station. Do I just set up a game with anyone, or did I miss being assigned someone specific? If the former, is there a chance of getting a thread together to plan this stuff out so I don't have to go hunting for my people?
  11. Sonnia needs some objective runners, usually. Witchlings aren't good at accomplishing things, only setting them on fire.
  12. The only real issue with Killjoy is that he's competing with Bishop and Taelor. You are also not using him as a deterrent at that point, meaning that you aren't really using Killjoy as intended. This isn't a morally bad thing, but when asking yourself if he's worth the stones, its worth noting.
  13. To be honest, I'm more likely to bury and deploy Bishop / Nothing Beast than Killjoy or Bete. Bete has the advantage of being heap and you not having to waste AP burying her. That's... nice... but meh? But then we circle back aroun to, "What does Tara get for being Undead?" Our general upgrades on her beatsticks is something, I guess.
  14. You can use Bete's one actions with Tara. I see that being useful with Killjoy, not so much with Bete. Personally, I don't get it either.
