Henchman Co-Registration

Your best bet is to email Justin directly and explain how you plan to split the duties and role and what the area is like.

The general rule of thumb is one Henchman per store/club but even that can be worked out depending on size of venue and how often events are ran.

Hi guys,Is it possible for two people to register as a henchman for a local area? So, a co-registration?Thanks in advance for your responses! :)

yes. you can have 2 henchman in an area. If you guys run events together you just get half the soul stone rewards. That is how Dunni and I are running things.

Or you can take turns running events. Just as long as you both meet the 1 event a month minimum.

it can be nice having 2 henchmen at demos. You can also have 2 games going on at the same time. Or 1 person can run a game and 1 person can talk up Malifaux to spectators.

Thank Nilus! Thanks Ducky!

I'll be using both of you's advice ;)

Ducky, do you have any other tips as to how you and your co-henchman do things?

I think the best thing that we do is try and play a game a week or at least every other week together. doing that keeps the rules fresh, we can experiment with new ideas, and play with unpainted models (because at demos you should have fully painted crews.) also, it is nice to have someone to play with when you are trying to build a community for Malifaux.

we became henchmen at the beginning of the year. and it has been a little difficult to build a community because M1.5e was ending and M2e was in the works. plus, Wyrd was, and still is, making the transition from metal models to plastic ones. a lot of the crews were out of stock on the Wyrd Store and our local shop could not get some of the book 1 crews in.

luckily for you, M2e has just launched and the new products will be come to stores in the next couple of months. it is a lot easier to demo a game and then take the person to the shelf and say "here you can get everyting you need to play right here" vs sending people online. it will be a good time for you to get involved with the community like this with the new edition.

also good luck and have funn.

Thanks ducky!

I must agree, we are having the same troubles as "unofficial henchman". The strange transitional phase that Malifaux is in at the moment between 1.5 and 2nd Ed has had a lot of potentially interested people saying that they will rather wait until the change over to 2nd Ed is complete. But otherwise, we have just been trying to build up the hype around M2E as much as possible until the new goodies arrive at the store.
