kross1
What color undercoat should I use to get the best result for P3 Blighted Gold? Than in advance! Kross
Final_Crucible
I guess the question is what exactly are you aiming for in terms of the final product? Are you using it for a gold metal, or a gold cloth? From what I know, depending on that and how vibrant you want the gold to be will change the type of undercoat and how you finish with the gold (dry brush, highlight, layer). kross1
I plan on using it as the base color of my Guild constructs.
Final_Crucible
I am no pro, but what I've found with things like metalic is starting with a base that is darker...so for gold, maybe a leathery color? Then you can do your wash and do layers up to the metallic coloring. Here is a great example of starting with a leather base, painting the gold, doing a wash, and then drybushing/highlighting to make it pop
