Vinncent
Hi, Usually I play LJ's crew in a small circle of friends, so I do not have too many opportunities to test my team. Recently looking for new solutions for me. I mostly played with this configuration against Gremlins and Dreamer: Guild Crew - 35ss - Scrap Lady Justice ExecutionerRare 17ss Guild Hound3ss Guild Hound3ss Guild RiflemanRare 34ss Guild RiflemanRare 34ss Guild RiflemanRare 34ss Ryle, Guild PawnUnique8ss but recently I've made some changes: Guild Crew - 35ss - Scrap Lady Justice Guild Guard CaptainRare 27ss Guild Guard4ss Guild Hound3ss Guild Hound3ss Guild RiflemanRare 34ss Guild RiflemanRare 34ss Ryle, Guild PawnUnique8ss Of course these choices are limited models that currently I have. What do you think about this teams? Cheers.
daemonkin
I like the Warden for fast objective strategies. The +1 Relentless is great for nipping in, grabbing and getting out again. Havent used any riflemen yet but have them ready for next week's games. D.
Sonova
Critique: Master selection It looks like you are missing Lucius. Lady J doesnt really provide any synergy for your crew (who are individually weak) unless she gets stuck in. Which is hard when you have no movement tricks and your opponents will be doing their best to keep her from melee. Otherwise she is just a counter charge unit albeit a pretty scary one. Also because she's abit of an all in master since she has no tricks to help her get out of unwanted (read: unwinnable) combat, your opponents will be doing their best to either stack the proverbial deck against her so even if she does get into combat its unlikely that she will stay alive too long. Or she gets tarpitted all day by spirits with self heals/support. Given your model selection it looks like you have the Lucius box set so you should probably run him as your master with LJ only coming in against ressers/construct heavy match-ups for the token denial. If you still want to keep LJ in this mix I would drop the executioner/guard captain and either get an Exorcist for utility tricks vs Spirits (since spirits arent really just for ressers now), Sidhir Alchibal to make LJ tougher and thus a scarier counter charge model or a Warden for general mobility shenanigans. Critique: Riflemen/Ryle Honestly I feel its one or the other. If you must have riflemen you should probably drop Ryle for more mobility/melee. Wardens are a good alternate option or even a watcher to add some cover ignoring tricks whichever you choose. Your list is very immobile at this stage and is dependant on getting some good avenues of fire. Ryle is probably the more mobile of the two options since he is tougher in melee and can walk in and out without disengaging strikes. You can probably keep him on a flank and not be too worried if something tries to advance on him. Immune to influence also means he will generally stay there and not be obeyed/lured to his doom. Riflemen however have pretty ridiculous pew pew output. If you can get a good position they can pretty much dominate the board. The optimal solution is to have them in your sideboard. If you flip a board that has little obscuring effects and are not playing against Mei Fang/Stitched one shenanigans you could side them in and watch them lay waste to all and sundry. Otherwise I'd say Ryle is the better general choice. Also Austringers. I know they are goofy models but they are the BEST ranged support in the entire game. This crews was created because I like looking myself for new solutions, than using existing. You're absolutely right, that the lists are immobile, especially the second one. I look for other solutions and see what comes up. Thanks.
