The Malifaux tournament will take place on Sunday November 18th, 2012. Cost: $20 pay at the Foodhammer site using the drop down on the left side! Location: Connections Renfrew ( http://www.theconnectionsgames.com ) There will be three games. You must select one master (or henchman) to lead your crew. Games will be 35ss selected from a fixed 50ss pool submitted at the beginning of the tournament. Henchmen selected in the 50ss pool can be selected to lead your army in any game in place of the master or as a member of the crew as per the normal henchman rules. Generalship Scoring is using the Domination format in the Gaining Ground Document Encounters will be a special story encounter booklet that is in process of being created. This will be posted online and be e-mailed a link to each participant closer to the event. There will also be hardcopies on hand at the event for each participant. Schemes used are tracked and cannot be duplicated (except as noted below) so once a scheme has been used in the tournament it is ineligible to be selected again for the remainder of the tournament. Army presentation will be from each player voting on their favorite army, for overall scoring 1st place in total votes scores 3 points, 2nd place scores 2 points, 3rd place scores 1 point. Sportsmanship will be from opponent voting on their favorite opponent, for overall scoring 1st place in total votes scores 3 points, 2nd place scores 2 points, 3rd place scores 1 point. The prize categories are: Overall Champion - Combination of all 3 categories Best General - Best score in the domination as above Best Sportsman - Most favorite oppoent score Best Army Presentation - Most army presentation scores The most up to date list of participants is available here The schedule for the day will be as follows: Registration: 11:00 to 10:30 Game 1: 11:30 to 1:30 LUNCH: 1:30 to 3:30 BREAK: 3:30 to 3:45 Game 2: 3:45 to 5:45 DINNER 5:45 to 6:15 Game 3: 6:15 to 8:15 Prizes and announcements: 8:15 to finish IF YOU PAY ATTENTION THIS IS A LATER START AND SLIGHTLY LONGER GAMES THAN GAMESTARS TO BETTER ACCOMMODATE NEW PLAYERS. You can register by clicking on the Paypal gadget on the foodhammer website. There will be extra incentives to donate more during the day, such as: - Each food item or $2 donation will allow you to re-use a previously used scheme - Each $10 donation will increase your control hand by one for one game (limit one extra control card this way per game) - A one time $10 donation will allow you to select a second master in your initial list to swap out as you see fit for the duration of the tournament.
