MALIFAUX Swing by the Hanging Tree 35 Soulstone Story Encounter Saturday, October 27, 2012 Basics: Location:Huzzah Hobbies 44927 George Washington Blvd, Ste.165 Ashburn, VA 20147 (703) 466-0460 Registration:Pre-Registration via email: bill@gamerslounge.coda.net Registration on site @ Huzzah Hobbies, 10:30am Registration Fee: $5 Date: Saturday, October 27, 2012 Time:Registration: 10:30 am – 11:00am Round 1: 11:00am – 1:00pm Paint Judging: 1:00pm – 2:00pm Round 2: 2:00pm – 4:00pm Round 3: 4:30pm – 6:30pm Awards: 6:45pm Story Encounter Rules: Deployment: Standard Deployment Strategy Selection: Per Story Encounter Crew Construction: 35ss, Single Faction Painting Requirement: Fully Painted preferred Scoring: Per explanation in rules packet (VP/TP/Diff) Appearance Standard: TO’s preference is for all models to be fully painted to a 3 color minimum. Players will not be disqualified for having unpainted crews or models. Proxy Rule: Proxies (substitute models) are not allowed under any circumstanced, nor can a player enter a tournament with a model that has not been released to the general public. Painting Contest: A single model-painting contest will be held during the 1pm break. Judging will be popular vote among the event attendees and TO chosen judges. Prize Ruling: 3 Prize Raffles will be performed at the end of the event. Raffle winners must be present and have played in the event to win. 1 drawing will be a Large Prize box drawing, and 2 will be Small Prize box Drawings. Raffle Tickets will be awarded as follows: 1 Raffle ticket for Pre-Registering via email (bill@gamerslounge.coda.net)1 Raffle ticket on Registration/Arrival at the event1 Raffle ticket for Winning a game3 Raffle tickets for Best painted model1 Raffle ticket the first time a model in your crew picks up the Plans during Story Encounter 1: The Root of the Matter1 Raffle ticket for killing the Teasdale Ghoul during Story Encounter 3: It’s Out of Control!1 Raffle ticket for using the Teasdale Ghouls Eternal Ability during Story Encounter 3: It’s Out of Control! Please pre-register is able, as this helps me to set-up as many tables as possible. On the reminder side, there are just over 3 weeks until the event, so don't forget to pre-register. On the question, I was asked what is in the prize box. Apparently the tantalizing "prize box" is a bit too generic, so I will expand and be more descriptive.
