the imp Posted August 20, 2012 Report Share Posted August 20, 2012 The owner of the LGS that I frequent is interested in supporting my efforts to put together a growth league and promote Malifaux. However, he isn't willing to commit the funds to bring in all 26 box sets and a random selection of blisters. So, I'd like input on what boxes and blisters to recommend that he bring in. Mike3838 Posted August 20, 2012 Report Share Posted August 20, 2012 Maybe just suggest to him a couple of boxes from each faction - enough for local players to see the variety the game offers and to have some crew choice, but only 10 or 12 boxes on the shelves. Make sure the totems are up for grabs, and one or two blisters for each faction. Eg. For Guild I'd go with Perdita and Lady J, both beginner friendly with different playstyles Scales of Justice & Enslaved Nephilim totems Executioner, Austringer and Exorcist work well with both crews. For Rezzers maybe Seamus and Nicodem, both very iconic crews with some minion overlap CCK, Grave Spirit & Vultures Bête Noire, Crooked men and Dead Rider As people buy the boxes he should probably get that avatar on the shelf when he restocks that crew.
