MDL1113
I want to buy a pro painted Lilith crew with custom basses and a few extra models and all blood counters. I would like to spend $50-$100 depending on the number of models. I would want 35+ stone crew
Malersatz
do you have an idea of what you are wanting as "a few extra models"? Also how many blood counters would you consider "all"?
Forar
I'm curious if you're counting the $50-100 for just the basing and painting (with extra for S&H), or including that person supplying the models as well. Because the Lilith box itself is $25-35 alone depending on where you buy, and at a glance on the PMF wiki, some of the usual staples (BBS, Lelu/Lilitu, Young Nephlim, etc) would push such a list into the $50-100 range before accounting for primer, paints, basing materials and time (even a speed painter is going to need time for roughly a dozen models, especially if they're aiming for a 'pro' look). Either way, it seems more cost effective to find someone who paints well in your area if possible (check/advertise at local game shops, craigslist?) and provide them the figures, perhaps a couple at a time to make sure their work is up to snuff, expedient and cost effective? Huang Da Wei
I was just wondering the same, in our area a good paint job costs same as the model, so if the model is £20 the paint job is £20. It also depends on what you call 'pro' because technically it just means someone who is paid to do a job, whereas a good hobbyist could paint to a better standard possibly.
