Next Tuesday I will be running a Tuesday Tussle at Huzzah from 6pm through close. This will be a 25ss, 3 round Malifaux tournament. Player pack is attached and details are below.

  Registration: before 6pm on Tuesday, 8/7

  • Round 1: 6pm – 7pm
    Round 2: 7:15pm – 8:15pm
    Round 3: 8:30pm – 9:30pm
    Awards: 9:30pm
    

  Tournament Rules:

  • • Deployment: Standard Deployment
    
  • • Strategy Selection: Random Shared Expanded Strategy
    
  • • Crew Construction: 25ss, Single Faction
    
  • • Painting Requirement: Fully Painted preferred
    
  • • Scoring: Domination Format – TP/Diff/VP
    

  Appearance Standard: TO’s preference is for all models to be fully painted to a 3 color minimum. Players will not be disqualified for having unpainted crews or models.

  Proxy Rule: Proxies (substitute models) are not allowed under any circumstanced, nor can a player enter a tournament with a model that has not been released to the general public.

  Prize Ruling:

  • - 1st and 2nd place will get a name plate on the Malifaux plaque
    
  • - King of NOVA trophy will be available for interstore play
    
  • - 1st place will be a percentage of the registration as store credit plus a prize box pick
    
  • - 2nd place will be a smaller percentage of registration as store credit.
    
  • - Last place will receive the Spoon award.
    
  • - Best Painted will receive a prize box pick.
    

It appears that we are likely to have at least 6 players for this. I am willing to defer the prize box pick until after Gencon for anyone who wins and also attends the August 25th Malifaux Achievement Day.

We will also have a painting Contest for all tournament players. This will be a single model, store judged contest with a pick from the prize box for the winner.

In consideration for the other gamers at the store, please email me or post in this thread if you will be attending. This will allow me to best reserve the appropriate amount of space for the tournament.

Wow this board is scrolling quick now.

Here are the pictures and results from the event. I missed out on the pictures of the models in the painting contest, which sucks as the models were very nice. Cramming a 3 round tournament into a normal gaming night (into 3 1/2 hours) was tough on time.
