Burning tolkens - Where is there information about these?

Form my game the other day,

Kaeris's crew were putting out Burning Tolkens on my Freikorp, and my opponent assured me that the way he was doing this was correct, but from memory, and not from any of the books that we had at the store (we had all of them).

Where is the information about how and when Burning Tolkens are used and the effects they have?

I know that some of it is from models cards, but surely there is more somewhere?!?

I think it's just on the cards. The only rules you'll find in the manual are the general token rules that apply to all tokens.
