Distaff
a couple of quick questions about Duty and Lure. 1.) Does duty prevent a model from being lured? That is does Lure count as switching controllers? 2.) Does lure count as being activated? For example could I lure someone over a shafted counter which they would then trip? 0 Iamwyrd
Lure does not switch controllers, as for your second question I believe they have to end an activiation for it to work. So lure would not activate it. At least that's what I believe, don't know if they changed it again, don't have my v2 card in from of me. But for sure lure doesn't switch controllers, it just makes them walk.
0 Sliver Chocobo
1) no, you can still lure it 2) it counts as a movement so I would say yes
0 JuJubee
Lure is just a push not actually taking control such as obey so i dont think duty prevents it from happening. As far as the shafted markers go unless the model ends its activation it doesn't trigger. Pushing a model doesnt activate it or else playing Collodi would really suck. 0 nix
Minor correction on the answers for Shafted above. (1) Shafted (CC: 13/Rst: - /Rg: C) Place 1 Shafted marker within 6” of this model. When a model ends a move or Push within 2” of a Shafted marker, remove the marker and the model’s controller flips a Fate Card. If the value is a Joker, the model is killed. If the value is a 1-7 the model suffers 3 Dg. If the value is 8-13 the model receives Paralyzed. Crooked Man models are immune to Shafted markers. Shafted markers are removed from play at the End Closing Phase. Since Lure is a push, if the target ends the lure within 2" of a shafted marker, then the shafted goes off. Now, Lure does not count as being activated, but the V2 wording for Shafted still causes it to go off.
