Nicodem/Guild Autopsies

Can nicodem trigger 'empty vessel' via a cane strike in order to turn a guild autopsy into a mindless zombie when he kills it? Since it says before its removed from play it turns into a mindless zombie and doesn't drop a corpse counter. Just wondering if this gets around the 'too far gone' ability.

Sounds legit. After all, It's a trigger turning the unit into a MZ, nothing that the Autopsy is doing. I still don't like them. They look awesome though.

I am working on using the dead justice box as an expanded ressur crew with nicodem. Rather than buying a lot of ress models I'm doube purposing guild autopsies as guild guardsmen when I run dead justice as guild

So cheap disposable bodies for corpse counters is always a good thing, if I actually go against guild they may prove semi useful.. but for the most part using them as a spring board for greater things..
