It's vast with dueling factions, subterfuge, assasinations, breach running for contraband and all sorts of wyrd stuff. Can we ever look forward to a Malifaux pen and paper RPG? CrouchingMoose Posted June 3, 2011 Report Share Posted June 3, 2011 My response to this is to just go with Rifts...it supports any possibility across all types of genres...I say this because it worked wonderfully for a Nightside (book series by Simon Green) campaign I ran once, espically since the basis of the Nightside is that it is a city where literally anything can be found (including western gothic victorian horror steampunk people and I do mean people that are all of those at once ). Carcosannoble Posted June 4, 2011 Report Share Posted June 4, 2011 Actually, I run a Monday afternoon game at my local hobby store using Savage Worlds/Deadlands. The players seem to be enjoying themselves. Personally, I'd rather use GURPS, but seems I'm the only one locally that's the least bit interested in the system. Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with idea or anything. Just thought it might be worthwhile keeping it in one place. May also be easier to see just how much interest there was as the interested parties and ideas would not be spread out thinly on numerous threads.
