Now Pray for all of us... I am sure AlQaeda will not take lightly. May we all hold our loved ones closer to our hearts tonight. Not trying to be a douche, just trying to be a non-sliding-scale historian... but, 2977... 2996 if you count the hijackers. Still not 3000. Al-Qaeda doesn't have any form of direct leadership, it consist of many independent cells around the worlds, so their attacks won't cease... They only got a martyr and another reason to commit more attacks. Sure, the boogeyman is dead, but soon another one will be found... Quite right. If Bush had nabbed him 8 years ago, it would have meant something, back before regional affiliates and franchises of Al-Qaeda had established themselves as independent powers. Now we've got quite the hydra on our hands. But mostly this was for us, not for destroying them. We have learned an important lesson that a great deal of lives and money can be saved by investing in highly-trained surgical strikes. Just a note: Does anyone notice that the capture/hit occurred immediately after the Royal Wedding... conveniently, no chance of revenge attacks during Will and Kate's big day...
