Blastercrazy
When Lucious is casting Receive Orders onto the Austringers to make a Walk or Strike action, can the Austringers make the 2AP 18" Stirke as it is named a Strike on thier card? Or does the Receive Orders only allow a 1AP action to take place?

Or does the Receive Orders only allow a 1AP action to take place? They make a normal Strike. Which would be using their normal 12" range. You shouldn't think of it in terms of AP cost, as it doesn't take any and even if the Austringers Raptor had a special rule making it cost 2 AP to use for normal Strikes (such as the December Acolytes Harpoon Gun) then he'd still have been able to make the Strike with Issue Command spell. Thanks for the clarification. Though is there any indication of this in the rule book?
Wodschow
Hmm..? Issue Command tells you to make a ranged or melee Strike, not to take the (2) Hunting Raptor action. A Strike is made with one of the models basic weapon profiles - the range of the Raptor is 12", not 18" - note however that you will still benefit from the passive abilities of the Austringer, ie. ignore LoS and get against Gremlins and Silurids. Mr. Bigglesworth
Wodschow is correct the ability allows you to make strike. hunting captor is not a strike it is an ability that is activated that gives a longer range strike. No need for rules manual it iS just how the two cards read.
