Q'iq'el Posted May 4, 2010 Report Share Posted May 4, 2010 By a sheer chance I've managed to find a store in Japan which has begun to import Malifaux minis. I've found it just in time for the Opening Day too. It's a bit far from my place and I won't be able to go there too often, but I attended the Opening event, we had several entry-level games and a real blast. The event was ran by the B2F Game store in Tachikawa near Tokyo (http://b2fgames.com/). The first half was all about explaining the rules (some players could use a translated manual) and then a demo fight between the Lilith's Brood and Ortegas was played. After that we split and played a game of Ortegas vs. Gremlins and another of Rasputina vs. Lilith's Brood. As far as I can tell most players liked the game, though some worried lack of Japanese manual may make it hard for them to master more intricate rules.
