mrborges
Pick up my first starter last week, Lady Justice and the Death Marhals. N.B. picked up my second a few days later I based Lady Justice and the Judge on two of the graveyard bases. Because of their coffins I decided to base the Death Marshals on plain bases with some plaster filler and a little bit of gravel. So far I've painted up one DM, just a few more details to add, and have started on the other two, now that I have a paint scheme I like. I haven't taken a good picture of him yet, but when they're all done (hopefully by tomorrow night) I'll be able to. I'll continue updating this thread as I move forward with the crew. Comments, questions, etc. very welcome.

Dire Hoarcat Snuggler
+1 on Marshall posing, ~J~ OT: Did anyone else giggle at the title?
mrborges
Thanks guys! I was playing around posing the 'flying' marhsal, and when I hit that pose I instantly loved it.
mriverakc
Flying DM looks realy cool. The pose is really dynamic. The minis are going to look good on the table. What primer do you use?
nightgaunt98c
Excellent. I look forward to seeing the rest.
mrborges
Sorry for the delay. I use Krylon from Walmart :disappoin Either white or gray (would use black, but while it exists...it apparently doesn't!). Here's a shot of the gang at the end of November. I've since pretty much finished them, I just need to take another shot. Maybe tonight.
Achilles
LOL; I have all that same Pegasus Hobbies terrain. What's the table surface made from?
netfrost
I agree with everyone else, love the DM poses... I may just have to steal the idea
mriverakc
Thank for the info. I use GW prime currently. Is the Krylon less expensive? The minis are looking good. Painted minis are always better than unpainted ones.
skrulnik
GW primer is probably the most expensive you can find. Tho the P3 Primer and Army Painter are giving them a run. Krylon only runs about $3.50 a can, IIRC. Personally I use the cheap Walmart stuff that costs a buck a can.
mrborges
Please, steal the pose(s)! Just after I attached these guys, I picked up some Litko "flying bases" for another game. I realised the 'flying' guy might look great an inch off the base. I'd consider picking up another pack of DMs one day to try it Krylon is in fact pretty cheap. I haven't yet tried the even cheaper stuff at Walmart, but I'm quite happy with Krylon. I bought a GW can once, but at like $18, there's no way I'm doing that again. I'd love Black, but not at that price. Maybe I'll go with the super cheap black if I can find it, and just check it out. Oh, and the mat is an untouched Zuzzy. I colour-matched my Resurrectionist bases to the mat's gray.
