JonasD
I just had to show that one off... I sculpted a well-known little squirrel some time ago, more for fun than anything else. Several people persuaded me and Noha-Studios (who I did most of my sculpting for for the last years) to actually cast him. So we did. By chance a french friend of mine, who has suscribed Figurine-magazine, showed me an artcicel. This was about a painting contest in Lyon, where an Italian painter made gold with exactly this mniature! Man, wow. As far as I can see, a great paintjob... JonasD
Yes, this IS great. As it's been released more or less in the shades, there are few people possessing one to paint him up. But I am looking into making this fella better available via my own page. Just put the hand on the deal by now.
Mosch
Nto to rain on your parade (and the squirrel IS great) but isn't there a trademark or something like that on the little fella? Would be a bummer to see you sued.
Wren
I would love to purchase this miniature, I really hope you make it available! It doesn't seem like it should cause any more problems than the portrait miniatures Andrea makes. (Russel Crowe as the gladiator, Mr. Spock, Captain Jack, they've got a bunch that are very clear depictions of trade marked characters/actors in all but name.) thewartoad
I don't think he'll have a problem with the trademark. It's not like he's going to put 20th Century Fox out of business! Cheers.
JonasD
As long as you change 33% of it, you're pretty fine! I checked back on that before doing the casts.
