Malebolgia
"These two thugs are the stars at the sharp end in Team Trollgrim. Krunch (the upper one) is already world super middleweight champion despite being only a teenager. His burning ambition is to dethrone Granite as world super heavyweight champion just as soon as he has attained his full height and build. Granite, the lower one, is not at all worried by this. Over the last ten years or so he has seen off more cocky young Trollgrim than he can remember. He just pounds them into oblivion, using his fists, head, elbows, knees and boots and even the cornerman’s bucket if things get a bit tight!" "The very smart Trollgrim chick is called Bianca and she certainly knows how to keep a rich old Trollgrim happy!" The geezer is called Kruger and he owns Team Trollgrim. "These two brutes are a couple of the hard cases who work for Kruger. Scroggins (the upper one) is Team Trollgrim’s bagman. His job is to carry around and guard the loot that Kruger will wager on his champions in the big fights and spend on Bianca in the City’s boutiques. Bonecrusher (the lower one) is Team Trollgrim’s enforcer. If Kruger has a problem, Bonecrusher sorts it." Flint (upper one) is Team Trollgrim’s trainer. There is nothing about bare knuckle fightiing that this geezer does not know. Ten years ago he was world champion and had been so for six years . And as soon as beating up-and-coming young Trollgrim became hard work he moved smartly into training. And then he discovered Granite and the rest is history. Scagg is the geezer with the bucket and sponge. His job is to wipe other folks’ blood off Granite’s knuckles and pass him the bucket if he needs it to smash a tricky opponent into submission! Designed by Ian Newbold & sculpted by Bob Olley (over 40mm) More info: http://www.newboldworld.com/ Terrific miniatures! Very original and with a lot of character. I can see all kinds of options for dioramas and painting contests
Jabberwocky
I really like these. I am a sucker for humanoids is street clothes, though. Definitely could use these as Shadowrun proxies.
supervike
I like them too! Not sure if I would buy them, but I love the twist on a tired character type.
vincegamer
Those look like some very fun minis. I especially like the bucket guy. Bianca though - come on, who wears sandals with a pants suit?
