Revisited Scheme Changes GG0 -> GG1

Recommended Posts

OK, so four Schemes that got transferred from GG0 to GG1 got the * that signifies a change. I read through them to compare, and really, I was only able to identify the range change on Breakthrough. Because they read so similar, I missed everything else.

So, I ran them through a text editor, and removed all identical clauses, so that I could see what the actual changes were. And I figured others might miss the changes too.

Quote

Breakthrough
Before "no enemy models within 3" of that model"
Change "no enemy models within 4" and LoS of that model"

Take Prisoner
Before "no other enemy models within 4" of the secretly chosen model"
Change "no other enemy models within 4" and LoS of the chosen model"
Before "was killed by a model which was friendly to it"
Change "was killed by an enemy-controlled model"

Vendetta
Before "At the end of the friendly model’s Activation"
Change "At the end of the chosen friendly model’s Activation"

Claim Jump
Before "if there are no enemy models within 3""
Change "if there are no enemy models within 3" and LoS"

Most of them are just adding a LOS requirement (with Breakthrough adding a required extra inch of distance). There's the removal of 'secret' in a couple places, but it doesn't appear to have a game effect.

Take Prisoner removed the Obey loophole to guarantee scoring.

Vendetta seems like just a clarification change. Have people been interpreting it to allow the check to be made after any Friendly Activation? That's the only reason I can see for the wording change.
