Hi guys Sloth his defence trigger (just lay down) if you flip or cheat in the Crow and you fail the attacker immediately ends its activation am I right in thinking you don't take any damage from the attack as well as his activation ending? It's probably obvious but just checking I would say you take no damage from the attack

Nope, "After this model fails, the Attacker immediately ends its Activation" is an "After failing" trigger.  Those happen as specified in the rules:

•After failing: These effects are resolved after Step 5, and only if the model fails the duel.

 

The damage in the attack in resolved in Step 5, then after Step 5 the Attacker ends its activation.

Just Lay Down makes it so that the attacker's too tired to continue, it doesn't prevent the effect.
