Multiple Disengaging strikes

OK, a model is engaged by 2 and he mentions he wants out. One missed but the other hits, does he loose his AP immediately or does he get to move staying within the melee range of the model he failed to dodge. Also, If you just want to disengage from one of the two models, you only have to do an opposed duel with that model, right?

The walk action fails if even one of the disengaging strikes connects. Only models whose engagement range you are about to leave get disengaging strike.

Well before he moves he must succeed on disengaging from the enemy. But if he fails one or both his Walk action fails and he does not move as per the rulebook.
