Thaarup
Hmm, I can´t find the topic at the moment but I am pretty sure that someone posted a link to a shop that sold single cards instead of the whole Arsenal box (and cheaply)...so maybe look for that...other than that I would personally love a Master based card box..that would for example be a Marcus box with all the different beasts in it and so on. But it might not be financely sound to do for WYRD. EDIT: Here it is...looked at the shop and it seems they are still selling single cards. http://wyrd-games.net/community/topic/98807-is-there-interest-in-ukeu-single-card-sales/#entry705973 And the shop link: http://www.valiantwargames.co.uk/index.php/wargames-miniatures/malifaux.html?malifauxtype=259 Edited June 15, 2014 by Thaarup
Popular Post Justin
I'm going to be locking this thread. Not because it's critical of Wyrd, but because tensions are clearly high because apparently at least one person has seen moderation because of it. So, to the people defending Wyrd, please do it politely. Being rude about it does not help at all. To anyone who feels they are entitled to free rules, that simply is not true. As someone who spends 8 hours a day managing beta tests, laying out cards, tweaking stats, and combing the forums for FAQ entries, that notion is, to be frank, a little insulting. I don't like to think that people feel ripped off for having to pay for the work I do. I work hard. I expect Wyrd to pay me to produce those rules, so it stands to reason they would charge for them. Just because they *could* be given away easily for free does not mean they should be. To anyone making the argument that putting our rules up online would be a good business decision - you may be right. You may also be wrong. There are a lot of factors that need to be considered. For example, putting rules up online for free makes stores less willing to carry those rules. And if stores don't carry your rules, they won't carry your models either. So, while putting things up for free would certainly make the players happier, we need to consider the distributors and the retailers as well. Now, some of them may be perfectly fine with us doing that. Others may not. But, at the end of the day, it's a decision that's above my paygrade - and I'm glad it is. It's a very difficult one, and I'm thankful I don't carry that burden. So, while I can understand the arguments, please understand that nothing is ever as simple as either side makes it out to be.
