Jaakune Ubume and Jack Daw's Creeping Terror

So I've been running this fairly often but now I'm going to a tournament and thought I should ask as to whether or not this will actually work.

 

The Rules:

Jaakune Ubume
Drowning In My Wake: Enemy models consider the area within Aura 3 of this model to be hazardous terrain.

 

 

Jack Daw upgrade The Creeping Terror:

The Crawling Chaos: While in LoS of this model, all friendly Tormented models increase the range of all pulse and auras which they generate by 1".

 

My question is. Does Aura 3 of hazardous terrain count as a generated aura for this purpose? It does say that it's just treated as such by enemy models but my opinion is that the affect is still generated by her, thus with the upgrade would be a 4" Aura.

 

Thoughts? The TO couldn't make up his mind so I need to know before hand

I don't see the question.

She generates an aura. That upgrade increases that aura. Where is the ambiguity?

I really want to to see the reasoning of why it would not.

I guess I could explain something like, jakune is the model with the ability that generates an aura. This aura is always on an effects things that are in los and 3" and not standing on ht 2+ terrain since the aura is only the same height as the model generating it.

This aura does not effect friendly models or herself since it says enemy models in the abilitys rules. So with The Creeping Terror the aura generated by jakune would be increased by 1" to a grand total of 4". Which means that all enemies treat the terrain around 4 as hazardous.

Yeah, as long as there's an symbol in the ability's description, it will be increased. Jaakuna's wake gets bigger.
