  1. I made a simple guide for how to paint the Bayou Gremlins from Malifaux, it is not an advanced paint job but I think it came out really well. Hopefully this helps you out.
  2. I'm really looking forward to it from a modelling and painting aspect
  3. Here is how to build all the models in the Ophelia Core Box.
  4. Cheers mate, Yeah I did forget to mention they aren't all out yet, hopefully they come out soon so it isn't wrong. Luckily I haven't seen the shortages here in the UK for starter boxes
  5. I put together a video explaining what a starter box is in Malifaux and what you get in one.
  6. I'm bringing Ophelia, basically all the models from the Ophelia Core Box, The Bayou Starter Box, + The First Mate. I asked the swamp fiends for a netlist from the options I had, so with this I'll have a few different choices each game.
  7. Cheers mate, I should have all that, I now have to paint up 12 models in the next month :)
  8. @Callum Smith What should we bring to the event? It is fixed master so I'll bring my master and potential crew. I'm guessing we also need to bring all our markers and tokens? Anything else? Cheers, Dave
  9. This box was a challenge for me to build so I made a guide for putting it together.
  10. Is there still spots left for this? I'm very interested in coming
  11. I made a video unboxing the Ophelia Core Box to show what comes in the box.
  12. I was quite confused about core boxes and starter boxes when I started to get into Malifaux. So I made a video explaining what a Malifaux Core Box is, I hope this helps everyone new to Malifaux:
  13. I learnt a lot from assembling my first Malifaux models, so I made this video with 7 things I learned that made assembling Malifaux models easier. What have I missed? I still made lots of mistakes with my Captain Zipp box and I want to make less next time.
  14. Cheers mate, I have been thinking about this actually and what I want to do for my next one is make a flat disk marker that will fit under the ornamental marker. So when a model gets close or wants to move on top of the marker I can pull off the top of the marker and there will just be the flat disk for gameplay purposes. I think I'll do it for a scrap marker for a video!
  15. I made a corpse marker that looks like an old wild west grave to fit into the world of Malifaux better than a flat disk would. Hope you guys like it! https://youtu.be/NSt3dYMYCI8
  16. Also to do with shine, my washes were really really shiny until I realised it was because they weren't mixed up properly. Once I really shook them (used a vortex mixer) they were back to normal
  17. I use a Winsor and Newton matt varnish which I airbrush on, it brings down the shine quite a bit and should protect the paint job. ( I use Army Painter and Citadel paints at the moment)
  18. I made a test base for Malifaux that is supposed to be the floor of an old wooden saloon full of gunslingers, I'm thinking Ophelia, Parker, Colette, the Ortega's etc. Really happy with how it turned out for very little effort, hope you find this helpful if you're doing a bases like this.
