Thanks for the listens!  We're hoping to do more The Other Side content in the future.

Where abouts in Sacramento do people play Malifaux?  My grandparents lived in Citrus Heights, so I'm vaguely familiar with the area.

This may be odd to you, but we don't play Malifaux. I did back in 2nd and 1st edition years ago with my son and others, but haven't in ages.  We are fully interested in The Other Side, as we prefer army scale / squad combat and, truth be told, have plenty of Skirmish games already to enjoy.

I live in Fresno, my ToS opponent is in Lodi. There will be more into the game soon, if I have my way with it.

So here's to hoping the ToS gets a proper re-launch, and those 2 player starters get into the right alpha gamers hands to spread awareness.

Drop me a line if you guys are ever heading my way up Highway 99.  There are a lot of good game stores in Central California where we could snap some Fate Decks

    for a bit.

The Other Side was originally launched as a Kickstarter project, and the initial release consisted of the four factions and the two syndicate heroes.  A bunch of things happened, and I think Miniature Market ended up clearancing their stock.

I don't know whether Miniature Market is planning on restocking/picking up the whole line again, but Wyrd is still selling the original releases (both on its own webstore and to the stores and distributors that want to carry it).

Wyrd hasn't given up on the game, but the whole pandemic thing making in person gaming a health hazard sort of hindered any sort of re-launch.  😕

Agreed, the pandemic was hard on marketing, community building and event management. Sales increased for certain ranges due to lockdown as you know, but ToS could of really used that time to flourish.

I'm hoping the pre-orders on Miniature Market, which seem fairly strong, will encourage the owner to re-stock everything possible.

  3. My set is in the mail. But I will say, one of the reasons I'm starting ToS is the fact that models are pre-assembled. So I expect the possibility

of some considerations.  With my gaming backlog and hobby desk over-flowing, I simply would not have had time to play this as well. Thus  I'm happy to compromise, if such an issue exists.

  4. Greetings all,

I just ordered the 2 Player starter set for The Other Side, and we are excited to crack it open.  After an unboxing on our YouTube channel, we want to

    get playing.

My question -- are the other box sets being repackaged currently? It was interesting for Miniature Market, where we ordered from, to have pre-orders for these

new boxes (The starter and 2 heroes), but none of the old listed at all.

If you can fill me in on any news or plans, that would be helpful.

    Thanks,
