  1. So far the majority of 3e core boxes have been 6 or 7 models (Hamelin has 10, but 4 of those are rats so it’s expected). Trying to fit the new sculpts into a crew that size and add on boxes is a little wonky with content so I’d expect to see t containing: New Nekima sculpt. Blood Hunter totem. 3 new Terror Tot sculpts. 2 New Young Nephilim sculpts. New Mature Nephilim sculpt. 8 total, but with no henchman and the tots being quite titchy it isn’t unreasonable. That leaves the current 2 young and the mature sculpt to get a 3e box together as their artwork is still on the cards. Existing Nephilim players then get all of the new sculpts and the Blood Hunter in one box. They’ll double up on Tots, but they are new sculpts at least and a few spares for Hayreddin’s summon doesn’t hurt. If it had the current young and mature sculpts in it then I could see it annoying quite a few current players as they’d have to buy the core for Blood Hunter, doubling up on sculpts they already owned, and then pay for a separate box to get the new young and mature models.
  2. Looks like it’s the emissary first then. McMourning will wait until he gets his 3e box as looking at his card he’s getting a creepy new sculpt along with Sebastian and his Chihuahua. As the Nurses and Rafkin have been bundled together in a set I’m guessing that McMorning will be boxed with three Flesh Constructs which will pull double duty along Nico. As mindless zombies can be counted as corpse markers for action or abilities does that mean I can use the Grave Golem to ‘Hurl Corpse’ them at people? If so I think the Golem just made my to buy list for the sheer hilarity of it rather than any actual effectiveness 😂
  3. Having grabbed a pile of discounted 2e boxes and the faction cards I could do with some pointers as what to purchase next. Ressers are more than likely going to be my stable faction alongside Outcasts. I've currently got both the Nicodem (yes I know he's DMH) and Seamus crew boxes, and have Gravediggers arriving soon. Ideally I want to stay in keyword or add versatile hires to begin with before I move into the other keywords. Residents of Rottenburg is a given as I'm going to need the mindless zombies from it. I was looking into adding the Dead Rider as a big centrepiece beater, but from what I've read the Carrion Emissary is a very strong addition to a Redchapel crew. Should I skip the rider and go emissary first, and will it be effective in both crews? The rider seemed more of a straight up killer and harder to put down aswell as able to make use of any excess corpse tokens Nico and friends had left lying around. That said his 'The dead hate the living' trigger could maybe go off once possibly twice a game tops and requires quite a bit of setup with the counter placement. I have the feeling 'Soulfire' would be used more often to greater effect, or he'd just horde his Fate Tokens for damage reduction. Archie will wait until I begin collecting Molly's crew, as it'll be either hers or Kirai's after I'm done with Nico and Seamus. So any advice on what to prioritise buying would be appretiated, as I'd ideally like to gradually introduce and try things out instead of just grabbing everything at once and having it sit unused.
  4. Hey Wierdos. After picking up the 1e rulebook back in the dark ages as it looked like quite interesting read, I never got around to purchasing any models for it. 2e rolled around and I grabbed the Vic's box and starter set, but aside from a few games with the starter set to learn it I never progressed any further. 3e arrives and I learnt that some masters were getting dumped onto the scrap heap. These of course included some of my favorite sculpts so I dove in and grabbed their crew boxes before they disappeared. Having sunk a decent chunk of change into it I should probably learn to play and get involved, especially as near the end of 2e I was put off by the amount of expansion books that existed and I can start with a clean slate coming into 3e. Of course quite a few of my masters are now Dead Man's Hand, but as I'm a casual kind of gamer I don't see that being a problem.
