    It may depend if they're playing with the default rule that limits masters to two actions at that cost.

    Then she goes from 5 actions to 3 which is quite a hit.

    Individual packs for each model and triple the number of packs available for that release, probably increasing the per model price for the Master and Enforcer you might want?

     

    The two Masters plus shared model(s) is probably the best of all the options for that release.

    They could do two masters + two copies of the enforcers now that we're stuck with this model.

    I’d love to see a repacking, giving up all the boxes, and you just buy a keyword box with all the trimmings priced around 100 bucks, and then separate starter packs and versatiles..     I’d love for them to re-do all the out-of-scale characters, and most of the M3E sculpts have been less interesting than their M2E counterpart - better made, but less interesting.

    I think the issue is their money comes from established players, so new content is what needs to be released for the players who own all the existing models that they want.

    Which is made worse by how poor the new player experience is for the game.

    But even if they fixed the new player experience, that's a long term investment and might take years to pay off.

    So they may be stuck in this cycle.

    If you copy rogue Necromancy's attack you get a built in positive with him, so that's the best way.

    Otherwise assist it off or stone through it or attack on negs.

    No just the target needs to be Experimental.

    So you can put carrion emissary gun on a kentauroi.

    Or Archie's attack on a flesh construct with charge through is super dangerous.

    Wyrd has a discord, and then the next biggest is probably the Malifaux World Series.

  7. Basically there's two things poison matters for:

    • Having 3 for horrendous corpse (most of your models that you intend to have die)
    • Having 5 for blood poisoning (mainly matters for rogue necromancy)

    The end of turn poison I consider a bonus rather than something I actively strive for.

    Note that to achieve these numbers, you sometimes have to plan ahead (5 poison on turn 1 is down to 3 by turn 3).

    Horrendous corpse is probably the most important part of poison in the crew, so I'd start by focusing on that and 5 poison on your rogue necro. Remember that McMourning's actions hand out a lot of poison, so you don't need much.

    My next list I'm going to try just doing a single little gasser for poison gen (plus the mindless zombie horrendous corpse poison pulse turn 1).

    Usually I have the models just run around interacting to drop schemes.  If the opponent kills my model I get a scheme anyway.

    Malifaux does indeed encourage cross purchasing by overlapping models!

    Could be worth keeping an eye out for the Returned boxes coming out this year. There's a few models with both the Nephilim and Returned keyword like Athorak and Cavern Nephilim.

    (And Barbaros, but Nekima can't hire him because of his lore).

    Do you go through your fate deck multiple times in a turn, so you get the effect of a thinned deck? I rarely do so, not with Nightmares.

    It goes to your discard after shuffling the next turn, so you always get one turn without it in the deck.

    But agree it feels like a terrible fix xD

    In general I'd say don't play Seamus into Guild due to laugh off.

    But am not a Seamus expert xD

    One big thing to watch out for here is to use Terrorize to move models out of Dashels soulstone aura (or you can terrorize a mounted guard between dashel and an executioner and then cut off LOS for the aura).

    Then your gun can do its work.

    If the executioners don't have LLC, you can use the daze trigger to get Why Hello Love for that last hit.

    If dashel doesn't have LLC, you can terrorize him away from models so you can turn off their stones.
