One of the fun things about Malifaux to me is all the alternate versions of models. Pick the one you like best and go with it.

Yeah some abilities won't match some of the models, but it's fine. They're abstractions anyway, and some of the new models art doesn't match their abilities either.

Loot Monger will certainly be good at those but I'm not sure it's significantly better than Som'er 1 with White Rabbit Co

Ironically this Som'er would be a beast at scoring runic binding, but we don't have that anymore. Looks like he'll be unstoppable at Detonate Charges and very good at Bait and Switch. So I guess there will be very specific pools he's better than OG Som'er if you are committed to playing Big Hat instead of another crew.

You could have rider Leveticus with just the Horseman keyword but has an ability like the Twinblade Viks where he hires the new enforcer for free (and doesn't get the waifs)

They've double on paired models with Mei and Mah, and they've double with shared condition/marker with Kaeris and Reva. So I think Misaki will either be paired with Parker or Ivan.

Love the undead Saloon Girl though. Give Seamus a run'n'gun model that can keep with him, and maybe some kind of corpse-scheme marker conversion to help each crew.

What do you think are the best options for versatile or ook beaters for Mei to give fast+focus or double focus to?

Fuhatsu seems like an obvious choice. Misaki 2nd master with double focus thereby getting 3 attacks with to damage seems fun. Any other great options I'm missing?

I think over half the new titles are revealed now (total). Any last guesses for the rest of Outcasts?

I think Parker and Misaki get paired. They're both in the Malifaux Burns trailer and share a model already.

Likewise, Leve and Von Schtook shared a model and a theme of undead + construct. VS has been spoiled but not the shared model, so it's still open.

Hamelin I think is going to get a Bayou pair. I don't have any evidence for this, just pure hunch. I'm thinking a vermin/pig model. He and Ulix also got hit pretty hard with the replacement nerf so maybe something that works around that.

Daw and Zipp, I have no freaking idea.

The big one from me with Sonnia is the ability to manipulate the next card flipped in a duel and know exactly what it is. That makes Sonnia's actual attacks really shine - especially if you've already put.pressure on their control hand.

You declare the trigger before you pick the suit, so while it's possible to strengthen your opponent's deck (it's also possible to draw 7 weaks in a row for that matter), it would be a deliberate choice.

New Youko is going to really love her henchmen, kabuki warriors and charm warders I think. I think it's a shame that Kunoichi which should be like her most thematic minions are still going to be 2nd class.

the combination of butterfly jump and a 2" engagement is actually going to be super survivable. Looks like you can get shot off the table, but I'd be surprised to see Brewie go down to a melee beater

Models aren't blocking. They don't grant cover. I don't see how a smoke pillar would grant cover instead of concealing

Yeah, mostly Turf War, although Break the Line or Symbols can let you bubble up too. Then schemes that mean your opponent can't just spread out and ignore like (spread them out, outflank, etc)

if it's a pool you can bubble up for. Som'er is quite strong against Misaki. All your key models are too tough for her to easily delete, from there you win the attrition battle. Of course, if it's a bubble pool, Misaki is not a great choice in general.

Those models look really cool. I love Trident Realm stuff. (still want to see more titles though)

Maybe it's a noose and we're getting a Daw/Parker box

I think you bring Rail Workers primarily for their toss. That or you want that 2/4/5 damage track from a 5 stone model

Looking at her attack, the first thing I thought was cool you can charge, heal a friendly, and push herself and the friendly 4" (and then get another attack or heal). Very efficient. The heal also goes off even if you black joker.

Usually bringing Parker means your opponent decides they can't do marker schemes

If you have Yannick and the Metallurgist, does this combo work?

Yannick does democratic elections, heals X freikorps models, then picks those same models to take 1 damage, which enchanted steel reduces to 0 leaving you with just heals?

Treasure Seekers gives a good reason to bring the Malifaux Child. Child interacts to drop a scheme marker, does treasure seekers for a 5, you discard 3 cards to give 3 models focused, and then when Twin Blades activates, you do Claim the Bounty to draw 2 cards. You can bring Yannick to even end up drawing more cards than you discard.

Now I'm confused. The trigger says friendly wastrels with 5" of the model that attached the upgrade get focused +1. Not just that model.

Treasure Trove with the Jackpot trigger. You don't even need the Curator if you have a way to easily get a scrap out

What does everything think of the new title (other than no horse)?

Looks like he adds a lot of staying power, and some scoring tricks, but will do way less himself.
