You plan on taking them ever? Have some amazing tech figured out?
Metallurgist seems great with Amalgam. Just hang out next to Alyce, equip a rocket launcher, vent steam and shoot every turn, or Obey her for another shot (or obey any of your other constructs).
Thirty-Three seems like an amazing flanker. Mv 6, slippery, and pine box should be mean if you need to go somewhere and interact once, it's really good at that. Plus a gun so you can stay involved from the periphery of the action. Finally some card draw is always appreciated.
Soul Battery seems like it might be a trap pick, 2 of your actions don't really do anything ook (although an attack with no damage flip can be cute in certain situations). I do want to give it a try in Mercenary and have 3 stat 7 models able to get positive flips with their suit.

I think Mech works amazing in a 2 rider list and is bad in a 4 rider list. I'm looking at Dead + Mech with the Midnight Stalker to give reactivate to, or Pale + Mech with Brawler for reactivate to really stack up the number of attacks you're taking.

her new art looks great. I've been listening to the Old Gods of Appalachia podcast and it's like exactly that vibe

Fair enough, I just liked how the Explorer's Guild starter box was set up, with models you could slot in anywhere and still get use. I'm not sure which Neverborn master would replace most of their crew with Grim models, as cool as they are. Maybe Zoraida, and lean into the puppet theme?
With Outcasts while there keyword synergy with the models, Yannick and the Brawler also slot into a lot of crews by themselves.
I think it's good if starter boxes work as a minicrew for new players. You can buy it and a core box and probably have a reasonable crew for many pools. Excellent way to grow into the game

A 2" melee and slow? You should be able to lock down 2 models pretty easily

new Parker and Pearl are the least exciting of the new Outcasts to me. I guess Pearl lets you leave the Emissary on the shelf, since she can get 2 scheme markers out in an activation, and brings some healing. I don't like the 6" gun, but you can just walk interact, kick up dust every activation and just keep feeding fast to your models

After the Dead Rider goes and pulses injured, and gets them below half: waifs achieve their final form. Entropic Siphon turrets

Hell yeah Rider Levi. Let's go!
He looks super fun, and the enforcer looks interesting and maybe a common ook pick. Taelor might work if a ss gives a suit and a plus flip.

We got 5 pairs with Guild lol (to be fair 2 dual-faction)

Yes you can use both while engaged and to leave engagement, and anything else that has you push or move that's not a walk or charge.
That's primarily what makes the Mercenary keyword good.

That looks fun. I can't wait

Does Auguste really need Distracted synergy? He seems to mostly want it on himself, something few models will give him.
What's he doing for Outcast Daw that's worth 7ss is my main question

We gotta call them N3xus right?

Most of the enforcers have been home runs but this feels like it works way better in Journalist. There's some synergy with Drowned I suppose.
Maybe Auguste works better with Daw 1 so you have 2 Disturbing Whispers auras for maximum coverage

I always interpreted through to mean any portion of a base moves through the other one.

Control Daw seems fun. Average model with staggered needs a 10 or you're kidnapping it. Anger Issues seems super annoying and fun.
Also you could bring him as a 2nd master with the Viks and Kenshiro and turn those pushes into moves.

I'm fine with the friendly fire rules personally. If you're engaging an enemy that means you're scuffling with them basically, it would be hard to pick out a target in such a situation. Plus, I haven't heard anyone but Perdita players say guns aren't good enough in m3e so I don't think they need a boost.

I believe active player resolves first. So it would ping pong back and forth. Sounds fun actually

Welcome to Malifaux!

If I get it right the opposite player must have a Tome in the Final Duel Total but I must win it. Is this correct?
Unless a trigger specifies otherwise, it will default to after succeeding. So you need to win the duel for it to happen (some triggers are after resolving so you don't need to win, and some are immediate so they happen immediately, again no success required). Then you always need the suit in the duel total to declare a trigger but Hoffman has a tome built-in, so unless something removes that he'll always be able to declare spool up.

As long as Vanessa is in in Base contact with the centerline, she gets +2 for her duell stats & always the Tome suit in her final duell total. Right?
Yes, you got it.

She can discard a Power Token for th + on the Flip or the selectable Suit even if she doesn't removed a Scrap Marker at the beginning of her Activation?
Right?
Again, yes. As long as you have a power token, you can do that.

& Hunter (guild): "Critical Strike" Trigger of the "Metal claw" attack
Both say in Brackets quote: "(to a maximum of 2)"
How can I get the maximum? I just get one Suit from the Card which I fliped in the duell. How would it be possible to get a second Ram suit?
There are various other ways to again additional suits. You've see it with Hoffman (built in), Vanessa (an ability). Henchman and Masters can spend a soul stone to add a suit while also getting the suit from the card. Power tokens can add suits. There's many other ways (it's one complex game). In the Ronin's specific case I don't believe it's possible to get more than 1, but other models that can use the same trigger.

Yeah I think you want to summon turns 1-3 almost every game
-
We have 3 of 8 boxes revealed. It would make sense to have everything in one big expansion book but also that's a lot of models for 1 book.

Both Youkos seems bonkers good. Youko 1 would get the built in suits from distracted. Guaranteed 2 pass tokens per turn, minus card for the opponent
Thirty-Three, Metallurgist, and Soul Battery ook

If you can get a scheme marker out, attaching an upgrade itself and drawing a card seems solid with Yannick too, but you'd want some construct around for the power token.
