  1. I think brewmaster himself is very strong, which is okay since he is easy countered after announcing, but i think his crew lacks a bit of power.

I would recommend that they not lower their poison eot and all get a different ability to lower their it, like some of them already do. I also got the feeling that Fingers really really needs his "dont mind me" back, feels pretty bad that my 10 stone scheme runner gets nullified just because he gets engaged.

I think i dont need to say anything about moon-shinobis. They are just worthless at the moment.

Cooper Jones is also a bit overprized for what she does, since you need to bring another model to make her do something at all. Always summoned a whiskey gamin turn 1 and the remaining game she was just meeehhh.

  2. I think brewmaster is fine. At first glance he seems a bit over the top yes, but considering m3es Nature of announcing masters first and the obvious and numerious Counters to brewy, i think he is ok.

Moon shinobis are not worth their points tho and need a change.

Should Lookin' Down on Them only work for THIS model's action's an abilities. Otherwise every (non-master) model counts as a Bayou gremlin during every model's activation for every friendly model on the field.

Then you would have to take a lot of bayou gremlins or otherwise your stats suck hard. The problem is bayou gremlins are very bad and die so easy that they are not even worth the two stones.

The crew might work with the ability as it is now. Uf you change it, i am sure big hats are as bad as before.

Would be cool if they added that test subjects can in fact charge while engaged.

I think that would be too strong, it would generate a lot of out of activation charges for a 4 ss modell i guess.

Is anyone have an idea what creatures test subjects are supposed to be? Doesnt seem to be gremlins or pigs.

Am I reading this correctly to assume that:

Scamper: After an enemy model within a6 Cheats Fate, this model may Push up to 2" in any direction after resolving the current Action or Ability.

    will trigger

Shock Therapy: When this model would be Pushed, it may instead take the Charge Action after resolving the current Action.

to increase the Rg from 2 to 5 and can trigger

Stampede: After this model ends a Charge Action in base contact with any other models, it may suffer 1 damage. If it does so, all other models in base contact with this model suffer 1 damage.

with self damage reduced to 0 thanks to

Armor +1: Reduce all damage this model suffers by +1.

Armor doesnt reduce to zero anymore.

Everything else is correct. But please note that you still cant charge if you are engaged.

  6. You guys should write your concerns in the beta Forum. Whenever i do, i get a lot of disagrees so it is in a Strange way refteshing to see there are people out there with the same point of view.

I think they need to get rid off that pass tokens again. It's ridiculous how our arcanist player is thinking about not taking the mechanical doves because they are worse then giving the enemy pass tokens. The same problem i feel while playing somer. Bayou gremlins just suck at this point.

Our whole meta is already tending to play 7-8 model elite crews all of the time, regardless of faction because of this.

Everyone got healing, everyone got similar summoning masters, one master with Upgrade shenanigans, everyone has a similar crewsize now. I just feel like the factions all together lost a lot of their identities. At this point, i feel like our only bit of identity left is overall worse stats and triggers.

  7. Bayou is the least played faction as far as i know.

I also got a feeling like a lot of bayou players got the wh40k ork attitude and are fine when their faction isnt well Balanced cause it is the "fun faction".

I used to be really hyped when m3e launched because some changes looked really good on paper, but the more games i play, the more i recognise what a bad game m3e is going to become, especially as a gremlin  player.

I really dont want to be the "salty guy" but i really loved to play malifaux and the gremlins so i am just kind of sad how this seems to turn out.

  8. Hey guys and girls,

Playing malifaux for some time, and now, some Friends gave me the ttb Core rules book as a birthday present, so expect a lot of questions in the Future.

One Thing that Really interestes me is, if it is possible to Play ttb as a Pen and paper, so completley without miniatures? And if yes, how do you handle Things like melee ranges or  distances in general, especialy  during dramatic Time?

Would love to get some Tips for a completley beginner.

    Thanks :)
