I would like to see a new Von Schill, Trapper, Hanna and Librarian. Von Schill's skipping through the daisies pose is the worst master pose ever

I don't know. I think Misaki's back kicking with her bisento is pretty bad. I hated it so much that I went to a loan shark to get Guilders to acquire the vintage pose Misaki. LOL

We have Carver for Killjoy, so I wouldn't expect alt sculpt.

Am I the only twisted mind that really loves exsisting Lazarus sculpt? xD

I enjoy the current Lazarus. He is almost like an action figure with his moveable joints. I do however like the idea of a female Killjoy. She could be more sleek, slender, almost like a succubus.

  3. I would like an alternate Mei Feng. Preferably without all the woodwork, something more down on the ground making use of her claws. Torakage that all the same size. The variation in the sizes of the current models make me not want to use them. We also need to see models with all the weapons that are mastered.

  4. Librarian, preferably with both feet on the ground. An alternate trapper because who doesn't love to field them. A release of the alternate Lazarus that we have seen would be nice as well. I wouldn't mind being able to get the alternate Hannah from Through the Breach. I am not a fan of the Sue or Bishop models. I don't care for the guitar on Sue and Bishop looks too much like Lobo from DC Comics.

Here's a link to several of mine in various stages of painting. Hopefully it'll help you.

All but 2 of them have been converted in some manner... The lady with the rifle and the sword/pistol duster coat man are the 2 that haven't.

Thank you! I appreciate the pictures. I really like the look of these. It was so hard for me to determine anything from the few unpainted pics I was able to locate with a Google search. I would really like to see some more. If anyone else has some pics, I would greatly appreciate them being posted or linked.

YES. That's exactly what I'm seeing, too. You can pretty reliably hit 2-3 models with it. Also, don't forget Finish the Cur!

But does it do anything to up his actual damage? His damage track on both weapons is rather low in my opinion. I feel like even with a hit, throw, shoot combo that he still will not be removing many models from the board. I am still fairly new to the game, but is it really much of an advantage to hit 2-3 models with all his AP and still not kill them?

They said a long time ago they would not change the issues with the female kit.

That is fine, I just never saw anything if they were or not. I would still consider getting them. I just want to see some good pics of some assembled minis.

  8. I have considered buying these, but I have not been successful in finding many good pictures of models made from the kits. I also could never find anything about whether they ever corrected the height issue with the female kit. If anyone has some pics they could post or direct me to, I would be grateful. I am getting ready to start running some TTB down at my local shop.

Will there be a 2E fatemasters kit availiable? With the different sheets and maybe an updated FM screen.

And non-glossy characters sheets to make them easier to write on. Maybe include a one shot introductory adventure or a follow up to the one in the core book.

  10. So I noticed in reading through the Through the Breach core books, both the old and new, that there is mention of Catalan Riflemen. I do not see any miniatures for them. Anybody know why? It seems odd to me that a group that is mentioned in the fluff and has stats for the rpg is not yet in Malifaux itself. They intrigue me a bit and I think it would be interesting to see another mercenary group available within the game. Thoughts?

the agust promotion to buy in a local game store to get a madam sybelle is not up yet on the promotion page ?

Nope. The website seems to be behind in some areas. The August promotion is not up. There is no mention of the September releases yet. And the Guilders section mentions new items coming in the following months, but there hasn't been anything added since I started coming to the site which was February/March of this year.

Got mine yesterday. It is an absolutely beautiful, well produced and gorgeous book dripping with Lore, full colour art and well thought out wordings on rules in addition to the well thought out layout.

Overall I'm loving all the changes. But most of all, and it's a tiny thing but a glorious attention to detail that could have easily been missed is the addition of the M A on the spine. So eventually the books will spell out malifaux still just as planned with the fated and fatemaster almanacs originally.

@Mason Did spot a few typos though! I'll hunt them down again and let you know in case you wanna correct em for the next print run?

I will agree with you. I have only time to read through the fluff so far. It is fantastic though! It gives me insight that I have missed and I love reading bits that I recall from reading a one shot or short story. I love that there is new art in the book. However in flipping through the book, I did see several instances of the same art being reused. I don't mind this when it is across books. But will all the Malifaux art available, there should not be any duplicated art. The typos are definitely improved. The proof reading has been much improved. I read PDFs of the previous two books and it was full of typos and grammatical errors. I am loving the book so far and the three ribbons to help mark key areas of the book is fantastic. This was well worth the price. Well done!

  13. I personally think that the old fluff stories done in a comic book format would be awesome. I love reading the fluff and having some great action art to go with it would be awesome in my opinion. Or it could be done the way Paizo and Wizards of the Coast have comics of their respective role playing games. They have a set of characters, the adventuring party, and they release in a six issue series. It is great. Each six issues is like it's own adventure. And the comics usually have some form of role playing material in each issue. So Wyrd could have a TTB one shot included within each issue. It would also allow them to create some iconic characters for the rpg to be the subject of the comics.
