    Nvmd. Got it.

But there are 6 white ?. Cadmus?

Oh, didn't think of those marks. There should be the master's name based on previous video. Though I cannot figure out how to make 6 characters with Nexus so maybe I guessed wrong.

Though Defective Dice stated that the image itself is the hint (not the random miniature at the background) so I believe the number of question marks does mean something.

Defective Dice is putting out their reveal tomorrow, and this is their hint posted on FB. This seems to me, based on the number of question mark, that they are revealing Nexus (single faction master with 3 sculpts). And since Lucius is pairing with Nexus, you may get to see new Lucius tmr.

You can quite easily make the same argument in reverse about using it to Ride the Rails, so I'm personally not sold on your interpretation. And any which way one plays it it's not exactly hard to play around.

I mean I have no doubt on the ability allowing friendly models ignoring the Pit Trap markers which are original Scrap markers. I just doubting the Pit Trap markers which are original Pit Trap markers.

Unfortunately I cannot provide further argument for this moment, so I think I will just come back to this later on.

  4. Yes, I would tell the opponent something like "there are 4 of ram, 9 of crow and 11 of mask in my hand and my deck". Or if I had no card in hand, I would just reveal my last card to opponent before he took any action.

In my theory, the game rewards decision making, but not card counting. So as long as all open info is sharing in a fair way, finding a faster way to gather info should be no harm to either side.

  5. I never had doubt that the last card in a deck is an open info to that player. Means the player can always loot at that card and plan for next action.

In my last game however, my opponent was confusing after seeing me looking at my last card before flipping. After discussion he did agree with me though. This however makes me realize that not every player shares same thinking on this topic.

So how do you think on this? Would you accept if your opponent looking at the last card in his deck?

  6. What kind of pool is this new Lady Justice good at? She is now more focusing on controlling (through bury and Coffin marker) and supporting (through area healing and area Focus), therefore I think she will shine in the center fight. So Break the Line or maybe Turf War.

One of the weakness imo is that 2 versions of Justice are focusing on 2 different direction. Which means it is relatively easy for opponent to guess which version you are actually playing, and thus can be well preparing and picking tech pieces.

What's the Dommy in there for? Heal doesn't affect vanilla DM's, and Consecrated Ground covers Art Of Death.

For the "Obey" I guess. So you can offensive Obey enemies near the Coffin marker, or have DM/DMR taking Pine Box for extra Coffin.

The numbers are faction + dual faction so Bayou is 0 + 1 meaning Zoraida. Should've made that explicit in the post, tbh.

Thought you were counting the master + dual keyword models😂

well, we still have 7 podcast/video reveals to go where at least 2 of them are probably packing a Bayou master, plus Wyrd is likely to reveal themselves in Waldo's Weekly. I am pretty sure we will see a couple of Bayou reveals before Gen Con.

Sticking with Rewind. I do find it awkward that these markers are associated with particular models, so you need to keep track who who owns which marker. Maybe it's not a huge deal, but it's just odd since the marker doesn't actually attach to the affected model. I do think it's a really cool and powerful ability though.

It is, I believe, to prevent Tara placing an enemy 20" away to the Echo marker dropped in the center of her crew.

I know I've if the complaints today people had about Pine Box is that it is range 0". Now for the busy is a wound it's roughly Range 4".

I'm a little confused by design choices. Marshalls can now drop up to 2 50mm blocking impassible markers a turn, meaning they can clutter it shut down big chunks of the board. But they don't have any way to get around thier own obstacles. New Lady J can't leap over them.

Also the Marshal's Coffin on Justice's card is OpA. So all Marshal beside Justice herself can only create one Coffin per activation.

Although again, that particular example has probably gone into impractical territory. Probably better to focus on being a bit more efficient and being happy with denying 1-2 symbols for 1 AP and call it a day.

Then it is not that different from blocking symbol markers with destructible terrain like Pianos and Ice Pillar isn't it. In most Symbols game with one side playing Zipp I played or watched, there usually is a symbol or two protected by a turn1-created Piano remaining not touched by enemy until the end of the game. Players are unlikely to score full point in a game anyway, so why bother to go to the symbols behind blocking marker, whether destructible or not.

I believe you need to block all 4 symbols by turn 2 before enemies can get into any one of them, otherwise it is not as impactful as it may sound.

And again, careful defining the terrain can help to resolve the issue a lot. For instance, we can defined all impassible terrains as climbable, and suddenly Hoffman cannot shut down the center line with a train, nor he can trap a model with a wall.

  12. If the Cerberuses are the only models in your crew can do schemes, they then are having a huge target over their heads. They are not known as durability in regular game, and if you managed to lock your opponent's crew out of position to scoring or interacting with the rest of your crew, guess what would they spend their actions on?

So if you lost your schemer early and rest of your crew were not able to pass through the blocking line like your opponent, then you could hardly score any point neither.

Just define all the trains and walls as climbable and problem solved.

  13. How long is the lead time of printing a book? There is one month left before Gen Con, so chance is Wyrd has already submitted their order and unable to change the content.

And, unlike Jedza and Reva, there is no obvious fix to Hoffman and will need to put back to the playtest imo.
