  1. Not sure how the OP define the word "Tanky", but from my stereotype a tank is to soak damage and prevent enemy attacking friend unit. So a master being impossible to kill, such as Leve, Colette , Collodi and etc., is not necessary being tanky. Since the opponent player may not bother to put any effort or resource to attempt to kill the master, and those attack will just go to other models of your crew.

I would say a tanky master should (a.) be killable if the opponent player put enough resources, (b.) have easy access to healing, and (c.) able to limit/control enemy from attacking friendly models.

So the most tanky master IMO would be Ironsides.

  2. I do not see any big issue here. I think we all known how varied does Wyrd have control about the S&S, given that how different the method to generate S&S had been changed from GG17(1*always + 2*suited + 2*numbered) to GG18(1*paired + 4*numbered). It is more than easy to go back to generate from Fate Deck, if any necessary, or any other brand new methods that we could never imagine by releasing a new GG.

  3. I don't think we are getting double masters in M3E.

We are getting MULTIPLE MASTERS in M3E!!!

So play Nellie + Lady Justice + Sonnia + Perdita and we have 3 deadly 4AP ladies.

  4. As a programmer I see the "Dead Man's Master is not allowed in tournament" is just a default value in case. In the programming if you would like to use a variable but forgot to set a value before, then this will be some error occurs.

In the Malifaux case it would be like a henchman has organized a tournament but forgotten to announce if the "Dead Man's Master" is allowed or not. Then some players may just take their dead master while others did not expect that they will seeing those masters. So what Wyrd has done is just set a default value here to prevent some henchman forgot to set value.

  5. Seems he will become the main summoner in our faction. His summon list, if we put the current summon rules on him, will be like that

    7: Guard/Hound

    9: Rifleman

    10: Austringer/Investigator/Pathfinder

    11:Mounted Guard

Looks like a solid list for scheming, but lack of front-liner/beater. Hope that Mounted Guard may have some change during the beta to make they from support role to middle-range beater.

  6. (1)AP and (0)AP actions seem to be replaced by the terms (regular) action and bonus action. Is this mean that we are losing the (2)AP and (3)AP action like flurry or Rapid Fire? I think the AP system is a clever system to normalize the effect of an action. I would say it is the 3rd important mechanism, just after Fate Deck and S&S, that makes the game so unique.

  7. The most recent major change is GG 2018 and Jan Errata. I believe they should have a episode for the errata, so you may want to check out the episodes that released after that one.

The Jul Errata is as well impactful but more specific. So unless you are looking for broadcast about Nico or Sandeep (or Jakob as well) otherwise the info should be up-to-date enough.

What kind of stage of completion is she at?

To me the bandages look great. As does the tattoo, sword and all the conversion work.

The scales and top of the scabbard look like they could use a bit more shading in the third picture. Her lower body and hair could also maybe use more highlighting to bring them in line with her face and torso. That might just be the photos though. Having very light and dark areas on the one model can confuse the camera's auto-contrast and make it lose a miss the colour variation in your shadows.

Anyway, looking forward to seeing more of your work!

Thanks for the comment. TBH the only part I would call finished is the skin, and the other part is only table-top level. But I am a gamer more than a painter so I am quite satisfy with current status and will go on to next model (you know, all miniature players have a branch of unpainted models).

  9. The common choices are McTavish, Burt, Bishop for the damage output; Big Jake, ronin for the scheme running; performer for the utilities. And our guild has some great upgrade such as debt, LL coat, numb and etc. I believe combinations of above choices can make a good list already.

And I have an not quite usual choice, Hannah. You will love it after you have experienced 8 hands with Hannah and Nellie or Lucius. Thought we do not have many good non-master Ca action to copy with. I always pair her with Phiona for the second stone, or sometime for the placement.

  10. I believe Nellie can handle this format with no difficulty. She can play with pure guild or heavy mercenary list. And with pure guild she can go with either henchman or enforcer(Executioner, Peacekeeper etc). So It is quite easy to build 3 different lists for 3 rounds tournament.

As for 5 rounds tournament, however, I think all masters in the game will struggle about the restriction.

Added a little bit Japanese style to the katana Lady. The blue tattoo is called "Sakura Fubuki" (cherry blossom blizzard), which is from a famous Japanese character who worked as both judge and police. So I think the tattoo should suit for a marshall as well.

And the word "正義" at the back simply means "Justice".

Here is my 3rd Lady Justice miniature.

Changed to angle of head for more reasonable pose. And the hair was cut because it would blocking in this angle. But it fit Lady Justice new image in book 5.

  12. I would switch Lucius and Nellie for round 1 and 2. Nellie with her henchmen all-star team can be able to fight for the middle place for scoring Extraction. And the combination of activation control and push and place of Nellie also means easy point on Inescapable Trap and Public Demonstration.

Lucius, on the other hand, would be prefect choice for round 2. The push and the (1) interact action from issue command can gain intel in a single AP. The don't mind me aura and combine with thrall extra attack will make Dig Their Graves much more easy.

  13. For sure the PMF wiki is a good place for new player to have a first impression to a model's performance. However with the fact that it is closing in the recent future, it seems that less and less editors are will to update it. Lots of models, especially in Guild aspect, are out of date. So maybe it is not a bad idea to start a master-focus thread here and have all of us commit some inputs, and then put it back to the PMF.
