  2. Hello Wyrdos!

    October is another LGS promotion month, and in anticipation for it and the spooky surprises in store, I want to address and answer some frequently asked questions!

    • 1) How do I get the promotion?
      •    Fill out the form here (found here) and make sure to attach proof of your receipt.
    • 2) Does it have to be itemized?
      •     Your receipt has to be able to show that Wyrd Products were bought. "Assorted Wyrd", "Malifaux", or the like is acceptable. If your receipt does not include descriptors like that, then you will need to submit a photo of the receipt with the unopened Wyrd product, prices visible.
    • 3) Can I buy from an online store or LGS online and have it delivered?
      •     Unfortunately, that's not allowed. We want you guys in the LGS, where you have a chance to grow the community and engage others about our games.
    • 4) When will I get confirmation?
      •     Due to the volume of submissions, we only reach out to those who have some issue with their submission. If you want confirmation that your  submission was sent in, please select "Send me a copy of my responses" right above the submit button. This will give you confirmation that it was properly submitted!
    • 5) When will my item ship?
      •     Your item will ship sometime after the promotion ends, usually 7-10 business days after the close date of the promotion. This accounts for processing time in the warehouse, resolving issues with submissions, and verifying each submission as qualifying.
    • 6) Will I get tracking for my promotional item?
      •     No, we do not provide tracking for the item.
    • 7) How long does shipping take?
      •     The depends on several factors, actually! Shipping internationally can take, in some rarer instances, up to 8 weeks, but we often get reports of international promotional items arriving within 2-4 weeks of mailing.
    • 8) Does the total have to be pre-tax?
      •     In countries with VAT or GST, your total counts towards the minimum requirements. In countries without VAT or GST, the minimum must be met before sales tax to qualify.

    As I replied earlier in this thread, we don't contact people in response to their submissions unless there is an issue with it, such as not meetingthe criteria for acceptance.

    Related to this, if you want to make sure your submission went through, when you fill out the form, select the option for "send me a copy of my responses." :)

  4. Hello Wyrd Community members!

    There's been a lot of talk and questions about the August Local Game Store Promo, so let me provide an update! Per the Promotion's details, everything is sent out after the end of the promotion. The promotion ended on the 7th, so we're currently in the middle of processing all of them, and it's a hefty amount! It's amazing to see so many people getting out to the LGSs and supporting the Wyrd Community! To give you an idea of timeline, we prepare the invoices for the promotional models the week following the promotion's end, then we fulfill them, and ship them out as soon as possible. In this case, our goal is to start shipping the promotionals early next week. The promotional items have a international delivery time of about 4-6 weeks.

    Some of you may have gotten an email that said you did not qualify for the promotion. 

    This was sent to you for one of the following reasons:

    • Your purchase was made online and delivered to you, or was not made at a Local Game Store.
    • Your submission was past the deadline.
    • Your submission did not include any way to identify the purchase was of Wyrd Products.
    • Your submission did not meet the $60 USD minimum.
    • Your submission was for a purchase made outside of the month of August.
    • Your submission included a handwritten receipt.

    The purpose of the Local Game Store promotion is to get people out at their LGS to help strengthen and grow the community. LGSs live and die by their local support, and we're trying to do our part to encourage our community to support them as much as possible.

    We're hard at work to make sure the Alt Sybelle gets out to everyone who qualified, and I understand that the lack of a "confirmation" email can be distressing. Checking the box at the bottom of the page that says "Send me a copy of my responses" and it will email you your confirmation to be sure it got to us.

    In store pick up is required if you order online, unfortunately. The purpose of the promotion is to 1) support your LGS, and 2) build up the community by having a presence at your LGS.

    You'll only get an email if there is an issue with your submission. So in this case no news is good news!

    To determine if it meet the minimum, I convert using a currency converter. So for example, I check to see if it's at least 50.80 EUR (~60USD). Now, as with any of the promotions, if there is some issue with the submission, we'll email you to tell you what the issue is. :)

    It just needs to be a combined of 60 USD or equivalent during the month. In the case of multiple receipts, just submit them all in the same form.

    Does your LGS have an option to print out a more detailed receipt? I ask because my LGS, for example, doesn't have a default receipt that shows items, but can print out a more detailed receipt. If they don't, then you should submit a photo of your receipt with the unopened product. Make sure I can see the date and the prices on the product and on the receipt.

  10. Could you perhaps have a little interlude of sorts where you set up for a slight change in the opening? I don't want to spoil things for people who aren't familiar with it, so you can feel free to PM to  bounce ideas off of. I'm going to have to transition from A Fire in the Sky to my own campaign for my group, so I understand transition woes!
