  1. Cool. As I understood, this Kitsune is for ToS? She looks cool, but feels like for last years there is a lot of asian stuff and malifaux becomes bushido. Maybe it's because Malifaux has TT - exclusive asian faction, and other nations widespreaded and not that noticeable, but still, I have this feeling, maybe I'm wrong.

  2. Some days ago in Russia was a little tournament 50SS but without Masters. Outcasts leaded by Alyce has won.

    Sorry, but for me it's a bit strange argument. For most of the factions glory condition is what you will do anyway. But only KE have quite tough task and benefit only from next activation.

  4. I agree that material is awful. Details that bended can't be completely straighten even with couple of iteration of boiling water - ice water - fridge one hour. My sharpshooters still have bended rifles... And assembly quality is bad also. Wyrds please go to normal plastic, please.

  5. Hi, I fairly new ToS player (KE), but I'm already noticed some problems, after a few games (especially against Abbysinian). And as I understood there was no errata for a long time. I propose to gather ideas here and point @Nathan Caroland attention (or who is responcible for erratas?) to it. Because ToS is really cool game, but it has some problem and doesn't receive much attention, unfortunatelly.

    For me is main problem in my games was insane card draw in Abbys... It's just unbeliveable how easy they can draw a cards. It leads to situation where they can just not to buy cards in hand and keep all their tactik tokens for other stuff. I was curious to compare draw/discard ablity for all factions and was shocked.     But long story short, Abbys have a massive card draw without huge discard. I think AT LEAST this common tome trigger should once per activation.

    Also they have bigger stats in avegare. And sometimes they are crasy high. For example Electrocutioners with 9/10 attack stat...

    As for the KE, right now I noticed 2 problems:

    - Very difficult to glory models. You need to kill WHOLE fireteam (that not easy by itself), and glory would affect only from next activation. So enemies have whole turn to kill or unglory you. Comparing with Abbys, for example, they have general trigger for ALL actions (even with simple duel) for margin 6, and they can use glory side immediatelly after that...

    - Arttirely team sucks... It just doesn't work. It's doesn't need LoS, but it NOT IGNORE it and still suffer from cover, with AV 3 it almost unusable (I tried...). And area effect only on a trigger on glory side. wtf is it arttirely or not? Cover shoudn't bother it and it should have area effect by default.

     

    Please post you thoughts and ideas. I really want to see some love for this great game.

    That's exactly the reason why I still play him))

     

    Nevertheless he still GREAT summon, but it extremely hard to pull (all the time in m3e I was able to do that only once...)

  7. I used him a lot of times. And almost all of them was "meh" at best. You must use him with upgrade only that makes him 12 ss minion... With SoDP for extra def, healing and move at fisrt turn, or WC for same reasons but without healing, but with move tricks.

    But even with this you still need a lot of support to him. At least one (better two) scavengers, and you still need good cards at hand for attack, because even with two focuses you may have bad flips, and Deso most probably die there so you NEED good atack and dmg flips. He is very card hungry. And very fragile. If left his survivability at some level, his attack potential should be increased.

    But in my opinion he needs additional bonus action like I describe or something similar, +1 def and +1 mv or +1 rng.

    Because just compare him, with, for example, Executioner.

    It cost 9, has 6 or 7 stat with 2" range, with 3 (and possible 4, like Deso) min damage, with def trigger disabling, HtK, SS mining, and very cool bonuses and grit. And it very easy to summon. You need just 13. And with Dispatcher you don't even need enemy scheme (and instead of paying price for using him, you take card, yeah great design...). When I face our local guild player I have to kill executioners each turn. They are crasy effective. And here we have 12 ss model that don't even close...

    Exactly. Before there was some logic like "big deadly guy" = "low defence". But now is not case, powercreep is rising again. So, I think update some old models is good idea. With app statistic Wyrd can see "dead" models easy and take some actions.

  9. I'm a bit curious - how often you using consume action? I just realised, that I didn't used it at all. Because in most situations there is no good target for it. Only one option that I can accept is an abomination, but I prefer leave them to increase chances to recombine Deso after death, or, at lease, draw some enemy attention from my other models. And with this, Deso for me have no bonus, in fact. Or it's just only me?

    I think he could have one more bonus, that can cover his weak spots. For example onward. Because main problem for Deso, IMO, is how to deliver him and not die on the road.

    Or maybe something like Arik or Harata, where you have various effects, but can choose only one. Deso is a combination of bodies and mechanic, so I think it also can be in coherensy  with lore, like:

    :ToS-Fast:Chaging Form.

            Choose one effect below, it lasts unlit End Phase.

            Springs in legs: Immidiately take a Walk action.

            Telescopik arms: This model's :ToS-Melee: actions increase it range +1

            Extra arms: This model's :ToS-Melee: actions receive :+flip

     

    Or something like this. What do you think?

    Sorry for such late reply. But I'm new player and not native English speaker. And for me "one line of sight blocked" and "one sight line blocked" is absolutely the same thing. Can you please explain the difference and why it not allows to ignore cover?

  11. IMO, Mad Dog has even more problem with enagagement that Alyce, with 0 range he can be locked by almost anything. Yes you can move him with emissary but you not each time hire emyssary from start. Dog a very good model, but I don't think that he should be nerfed. He is main bandit damage dealer. All other (Sue, Parker1) not that effective. Gunslingers and Wokou are overpriced.
