  1. If a model has been affected by 'take your meds' to limit it to, lets say, Mellee actions only. Can it be obeyed to do something else?

The take your meds states that it may only declare certain actions, whilst obey lets the caster of obey declare the actions, so will that get round it?

I can't find anything in the FAQ or on here already so hopefully someone can clear it up for me.

    Ta very much

  2. I've been recently been running her with Lelu and Lilitu. Hemming them and using the nurse to give them funky things, or Zoraida to obey.

    The last game I ran

Zoraida with Tarot Reading, Doppleganger, Lelu, Lilitu, Nurse, Tuco a terror Tot and a Silurid.

First turn, move everything towards the centre of the board, apart from Tuco (whos there already) and Zoraida. Then bring out the voodoo doll hemming Lelu. Then the doll just sits at the back focusing or going defensive.

The next turn start with Zoraida, obey Lilitu to use her 1 action to give both her and Lelu positive flips. Then activate Lelu to do his 0 action of pushing and giving him and Lilitu pounce. Then use Lilitu (and the doppleganger) to start luring things into the pounce range.

Later when you don't need to use lure as much then use the nurse to give the twins +2 damage (and only do melee attacks).

It can be pretty brutal luring things in to a minimum 4 damage dealing 'free' attack. You can also use the likes of Tuco, Barbaros or the mature nephelim to push models into the pounce trap.

the only thing to watch out for is Exhaust their forces and Tag and release. Can be a bit of a bugger.

  3. Have you considered switching in Tuco, Angel Eyes or Scion of Black Blood. All will fit in with the nephilim thing.

Also, I'd be inclined to use Nekima as more of a hunter rather than a bodyguard. Why wait for things to come to you when you can go out and hunt down either their scheme runners or any ranged threat they might have.

  4. I usually run him with Lilith, mostly on anything that needs me to hold the centre from the start.

Though recently I've been playing him with Zoraida. Using Lelu and Lilitu to pounce on anything he pushes their way with his 0 action. I'd say though that he could fit into any Neverborn crew quite easily.

Forgot to say, his defence trigger (giving -1WP to enemy models in 4" when he takes damage) is great for most crews that have cast actions.

  5. As a local meta, we've always played it that a model with flying can get from one building to another. But the question came up that if a model with flying can make it across, can a model with incorporeal do the same? Its at that point we decided to just stick to the FAQ and go with it having to go up down then up again. Otherwise you'd be open to allsorts of further questions arising.

  6. I would play it that the first one would get cover as model A isn't able to see all of Model B's base.

Whereas in the second picture, model A can see all of model B (it doesn't have to be left edge to left edge, it can be right edge to left edge).

RE: feagaur - I'm curious (and because I have no zogging idea what it does) what synergy does the rogue necromancer bring to the crew or niche it fills? I like the undead canines idea.

What MrBedlam said about Rogue's range attack which also has blasts. Also he's a good melee beater who forces WP duels with his terror checks.

The fact that he gives poison out too (along with Myranda and the Rattler) works well with the canine remains giving them a 1AP charge.

  8. I took Likith to my first tournament and managed 14/32. She does rock. But I'd say the waldergeist were the stars. The fact they hold the line so well and can start up field with Juju's upgrade makes them a must. Especially for turf war. Then if you use Mr Graves to move everyone up (with dopplegangers help) you can have the middle held in no time.

  9. I personally have only ever used 2 lots of trees. Though have taken 3 Giests in a list.

Having them start up table with Bad Juju's Hexed Among You upgrade means the first two lay down trees about 4 inch from the opposition and the 3rd charges in. He will probably die in round 2. But has at least held up your opponent for a turn and taken most of their AP just to deal with a 6 point model.

Its great for extraction and guard the stash.

  10. I guess what they could have said on the card is that the condition is only removed once VP is scored from it. Or scoring VP from it removes the condition (similar to the way scheme markers are sometimes removed to score points).

Otherwise getting Marked on models like Bette Noir means you would only ever really need to target her to get your points for the scheme.
