  1. I feel your pain on Jack Daw. My primary opponent's only crew was a Jack Daw list running 1-2 hanged and I also find it very frustrating at times. Between oldest magic and cover, you probably aren't going to kill Daw, while armor and incorporeal makes most of his other crew equally resilient. You also can't reliably tarpit because he can just push his guys out of engagements. When I've been successful against him, it's been exactly the way D6Damager describes. Identify and focus on your VPs, protect what matters, and clog his meat grinder with the shattered bodies of a million bayous. Taking Show Off with Pere and a swarmy Somer crew also works well, assuming he's not running too many freikorps.
  2. I know I PM'd earlier, but I figured I'd drop a post into this thread at OneLittleThunder's suggestion. Are you still running Monday Night Malifaux games? If so, I'm definitely interested.
  3. Thanks! Maybe I'll have to ask around a little more. My brother asked a few months ago and the owner had said that the Malifaux scene had really dispersed for some reason. It had diminished to such an extent that he was considering not stocking Malifaux anymore, which would be a shame. I think Victory Comics over in Falls Church does some Malifaux stuff, but that's much tougher for me to get to in the evenings. I am interested in joining the Henchman program and running games out of Huzzah, I just figured I'd get an idea of what existing scene was like in the area.

  5. Hello all, I know this is likely not the place to post such things, but I was hoping to get some advice and/or help from the good folks here. I'm new to Malifaux and ordered my first batch of stuff. Unfortunately, the sprue for my box of Bayou gremlins was broken in half, with damage to some of the pieces. I submitted a claim and follow up email and received immediate help. However, it's been at least three days since I last heard from them, and I've received no updates. Does anyone have a recommendation of who I can contact? I've sent an email asking about the status of my claim to customer service, but I haven't gotten a response. Any and all help would be much appreciated. Thanks!
