  1. Sounds like a fun thing to try (I want to now :P - just need to build my gunsmiths.) The range is not as good as other faction's gunlines but hey - we're Arcanists not Ortegas! ;)

For your turn of heavy "shooting" you can use one or more clockwork pigeons to help the oxfordian mages' damage output.

  2. Hey Nathan. I'm a fellow player with severe social difficulties so I know how hard this kind of thing is. Sadly I don't have a huge lot of advice :/ Just hang in there and take it easy - try and integrate yourself slowly. Start by just trying to say hey and talking a tiny bit about the game - I found this helped me as it was diverting some of the focus of me and onto the game in question. Take it at your own pace :) Good luck!

  4. Lillith with Bad Juju and Hexed amongst you to throw waldergeists is my approach to this. Waldergeists can then throw up a defensive wall against shooting for my models as they move up to meet them and place makers for breakthrough. Lilith can hurl either another schemer or a damage dealer/support model depending on crew match up with tangle shadows.

  5. I'm currently organising a Malifaux campaign with the Pit Gaming Store over several months starting either in January or February at Thors Hammer Gaming Club in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire (I'll include a link below). We have a few players at club but any players nearby who would be interested message me or post here and I can let you know when more details are confirmed :D The more players we have the better ^__^

  6. Flay only effects Nephilim and if I remember correctly can only be taken  by them as well.

Barbaros - he makes an ok holder for this upgrade as he only has 1 personal upgrade. He does have other options as well.

Nekima - if you take her she doesn't need the flay but others benefit from it. She has better options though.

Angel Eyes - she's less likely to be in the middle of combat then other models which means she's less likely to be taken out (and there by loosing the upgrade for the game)

Lelu & Lilitu - both good for this upgrade and they don't have many other competing upgrade choices in a Lilith crew.

Mr Graves - depends how you play him but in my experience he often goes down about halfway through. Personally I wouldn't put this on him.

Tuco - Tuco isn't going to be in the thick of things with any luck and as Obsidian Talons has no range limit he's a good option to keep the upgrade in effect through out the game.

Depending on crew make up and schemes/strats the holder of Obsidian Talons could be the focus of quite a bit of fire (in a kill heavy pool against rezzers for example being able to cheat through :-fate damage flips.
