I really like how you did everything in black to really make the contrast of the blue light stand out. well done!

Cool work! You're a very tough opponent!
Thank you! your base is really nice. the spider webs and the details on the walls.

Can't imagine what kind of twisted mind it takes to come up with something like this! I have no idea what is going on here... I feel I must be missing a reference to something...
But nonetheless, the painting is amazing! Love the glowing pig and how it shines on the surrounding. Well done!
It is all a joke from the tv series 'Archer'

I love the painting on the ice dudes

love the lighting on the brain in the jar!

this one is awesome!

nice paint job, but it is hard to see this one fitting this wyrd science theme.
-
her dress looks like satin! that is incredible

In case anyone is curious. The runes around the base of the coast spell out "Wyrd Science R3" in Norse runes

For those curious, The runes along his jacket spell out "Wyrd Science R3" in a Norse spelling

Really great piece man! I am surprised we both scored so low and that I won over this! my pictures were terrible. this was a very clean piece with good paint skills and really fit the theme. good use of OSL and a really good color pallete. anyways I really hope to see your further pieces even though you have been eliminated.

this one is trippy! I know it is 3D but it looks 2D

it would be awesome if you could continue this circus theme through the whole contest. haha.
first a penguin in a too-too now this strongman

I was thinking of doing this one early on. very nice paint job!

that is not very much for 5% interest at 1356 years.

Thank you! As for the theme, it's specifically the model, it has a burning skull for a head (I did blueish grey flames, which are coming through the hat).
maybe take another angle of picture and collage them together so we can see that skull. that would really improve the theme aspect.

really good paint job on the face!

You may want to delete this submission and reupload it to the WIP gallery on the forums. this is specifically for final submissions and this will count as your final submission. just dont want you to lose out.

That is awesome, not the best looking, but still awesome.
I know
I wasn't overly happy with this piece. the wire is showing, and the set had to be kind of last minute. I order supplied to build this and one other idea (this chicken little display was my back up idea) the day the theme came out. the pieces for this chicken little display came way late in the week last week so i was rushed. and i am STILL missing a piece for my original idea
i will probably lose this round but I learned a lot!

you tried to upload late, that is why you couldn't upload to the right gallery. the deadline was 6pm CST on Sunday. you uploaded at 10:30 PM CST.

I actually needed to read the text to know which rider represented a given aspect of the Apocalypse, wasn't sure about the plague and famine. The terrain you've prepared is very impressive but I think you could have gone for a few more highlights to really show off the rock texture. That being said, it's a very impressive entry and clearly you've put a lot of effort into making it. I like the fact that you've kept a similar palette for each of the riders so they look more coherent.
check out his WIP picture. it explains everything. even how he made death from a game of thrones piece.

this one is so dark. it looks like you put a lot of thought and work into the detail, but it is hard to see it.
