yup you can use the ripples models, expect questions from your opponents and take into account this may slow your game down, expect them to not quite work how you think they do.

new faces are always good it will help me convince the outpost to expand the number of players

hi, just had a thought but should the 1st round not be random and instead seeded based on their current standing in the rankings? The top two players who attending play off against each other first match and then down the rankings than them usually playing off in the final match of the day? This might be fairer than the top person playing the lowest ranked at the event while second and third ranked play straight away due to random draws. (though I do believe you learn to be better by playing the Big Boys and Girls in this game)

I done good? I mean there's always a first time you come across a master and you have no idea what they do, you just ask what they do and what there stats are and get on with the game.

we're going to d6 roll off for it each game. I don't think that they will have arrived by then, but, if you do get your goodies for then I will allow you to run them, (I've been running the emissary pretty much since I saw the third book) but do expect lots of questions and for it to slow your games down which may/will impact on your scores. unless of course there's massive backlash and I reserve the right to u-turn. But I don't see this as more of an issue of I've never played against X master before. The rules are nailed down on the cards.
